Fun for "kids" of all ages
Had to try it before the "kids" did. Five adults played with this for 30 minutes and laughed the whole time, gramma got pretty competitive!THINGS TO NOTE:--Requires 3 AA batteries (not included) The battery door spring catch doesn't hold the flap on at all only the screw does. May be a point of failure in the future.--The frogs are very small and would be a chocking hazard for babies and toddlers. Game is rated for ages 3 plus.--(as the stickers says; pictured) If you line up the arrows (which are nearly impossible to see on the pale green top) you can depress all the lily pads at once.--place the stickers in such a way that designates those impossible to see top arrows. As others said a soft or deeper net would make it easier to keep the frogs that you catch from bouncing out. I might see if I can find some small fish aquarium nets to use instead. More nets would be nice so more players could play. The "pond" is pretty small a bigger pond with more frogs would make the game last longer than 45 seconds. The storage compartments are nice and useful to keep the parts together. We received an extra frog (I'm sure at least one of these will get lost when children play) We chased wayward frogs all over the dinning room. The option to use or turn off the music is nice. The actual tune that it plays is pretty cute so we opted to play the music. It took 3 adults and 2 college degrees to fit everything back in the box properly....did the nets expand after we unpacked it?SUMMARY: This is a fun game that should keep the kids entertained for at least 20minutes at a time, longer if an adult will play along. I know all games are pretty pricey but do think that $23 is a little pricey for this so not THE best value but only by a few dollars. That said, I would splurge a little if I was gifting this to someone or great to keep at Grams house. Wish it was a better value but it was so fun and cute, still giving it 5 stars!

Fun - Harder than it looks
I work with younger children and this toy was a hit. Not for trying to catch the frogs but just for waiting for the frogs to pop. The kiddos love watching where they are going. The toy itself is well made. Stickers to enhance game appearance. There is storage for the frogs so there is no need for additional storage containers. Relatively easy to “load” the frogs. Most of the time, when all of the frogs have popped, it is already lined up to load again. The idea that you can have the music on or not is GENIUS! I am not fond of the toys that you have no option to turn it off.

Lots of fun
This toy is lots of fun and not just for kids but for adults as well. It really develops some good motor skills and trains a fast reaction. The little frogs are so cute. Perfect game for a family or just kiddos. I recommend the game.

Super cute and fun toy that has a few minor issues
The media could not be loaded. I am a grandma always in search of toys for my younger grandkids who come over weekly for visits, and this Frog Fishing Pop-Up toy really fits the bill. My grandkids are ages 2-4, but I think older children would have a blast with it, too!The concept is simple--the mini frogs are placed in each of the circles around the outer edge (you press the circles down before adding the frogs), turn on the game, and as it rotates, the frogs randomly pop up while everyone frantically tries to catch them in the provided nets! Although the game comes with two "nets," I provided extra containers so four players can play at one time. All-in-all, it was a very fun (with a few caveats!).What I loved...1. It was cute and fun--my grandkids loved it!2. It has a storage for the little frogs in the base of the unit3. The game is quick (30-40 seconds)--perfect for short attention spans4. The music is optional--but not obnoxious--I like using it during the gameWhat I didn't love...1. The frog circles won't push down sometimes (see video). I had to manually twist the game base until it clicked, and that would usually fix it--not sure if mine just had a glitch or not2. The frogs tip over easily on the board if barely bumped because they are so light. I understand they need to be light so they'll pop up. Sometimes I spent more time setting it up than playing it because of the age group playing.Although there were a few negatives--none of these are a dealbreaker--my grandkids absolutely loved it, and I look forward to playing it with them for a long time!

Game
This was the first game I got my daughter (2 year old) and she LOVES it. It plays music and the frogs “pop” out and you’re supposed to catch them. Anyone that has a toddler that loves things that pop.. this is for you. It’s easy to use, put together and put away. There’s storage underneath for the pieces. It’s fun! Would be a great gift. The only downside we had with it is not all the circles go down. There’s two frogs that won’t go down but it doesn’t seem to bother my toddler.

hours of fun
this game is so cute, compact, and easy for toddlers 3+ to comprehend and it is so exciting to see the froggy jump so high

For an older child
Easy set up and clever idea, but I would recommend this toy for a child closer to 6 that has better motor skills. The little frogs pop quite high and fast so a smaller child may feel overwhelmed and frustrated. Good competition for a 6 year old and above.
