Nice quality jeans, which is why I decided to keep them despite the strong smell, which I assume is from the dye? Anyway, I washed them multiple times, including soaking them with white vinegar and baking soda, but the smell hasn’t budged! These are unwearable for me, due to the odor, but i guess it didn’t bother the other reviewers.

Great fitting jeans - love the high waist . Will wear this Fall !
