With a 45-day test drive and Cooper’s century-long legacy, it’s the reliable choice for professionals demanding durability and performance year-round. ## Description Built with durability in mind, the Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT SUV and Truck Tires tackle difficult terrain to help your vehicle get the job done. It outperforms the Toyo Open Country A/T III in dirt and wet road handling, and when stopping on snow covered roads.* Tough jobs demand tough tires, and the Stronghold AT delivers the traction you need when it matters most. Wide open grooves in the tread grab and release soft surfaces, while Cooper’s 3D-sipe technology helps to provide stability. This all-terrain tire provides grip and traction for the life of the tire. These tires resist cracking, tearing, and rounding of the tread, and prevent stones from getting stuck in the tread. Textured edges on the shoulders of the truck and SUV tire grab into snow to help provide traction in harsh winter conditions. The Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT is protected by a 60,000 Miles Limited Treadwear Warranty. Cooper Tires offers a 45-Day Test Drive to test out your new tires. We’ve spent over a century building quality tires that are made to last. Incredible performance, reliable safety, and a price that won’t break the bank. That’s what you can expect from a Cooper Tire. *Based on internal testing comparing Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT (LT275/65R18) to Toyo Open Country A/T III (LT275/65R18) on a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. Actual results may vary. ## Features - STRONGHOLD AT – Built with durability in mind, the Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT SUV & Truck Tire tackles difficult terrain to help your vehicle get the job done - ALL-TERRAIN TIRE – Tough jobs demand tough tires, and the Stronghold AT delivers the traction you need when it matters most; wide open grooves in the tread grab and release soft surfaces, while Cooper’s 3D-sipe technology helps to provide stability - STRONG AND DURABLE – This all-terrain Cooper Discoverer Stronghold Tire provides grip and traction for the life of the tire; these new tires resist cracking, tearing, and rounding of the tread, and prevent stones from getting stuck in the tires tread - GREAT SNOW TRACTION – Textured edges on the shoulders of the truck and SUV tire grab into snow to help provide traction in harsh winter conditions; Severe Snow Designation/Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake Certified - 45-DAY TEST DRIVE – Take time to make sure these new SUV & truck tires are the right ones for your vehicle; Cooper Tires offers a 45-Day Test Drive to test out your new tires ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0D5KGXQGZ | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #66,693 in Automotive (See Top 100 in Automotive) #68 in Light Truck & SUV All-Terrain & Mud-Terrain Tires | | Brand Name | Cooper | | Construction Type | Radial | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (84) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00029142992943 | | Included Components | Tire Only | | Item Diameter | 32.7 inches | | Item Dimensions | 31 x 31 x 10 inches | | Item Highlight | Light Truck All Terrain All Weather Traction 126/123S Rated E 10 Ply Radial Construction Black Sidewall Tire | | Item Type Name | automotive-light-truck-and-suv-all-terrain-tires | | Item Weight | 54.2 pounds | | Load Capacity | 3750 pounds | | Load Index | 126 | | Load Range | E | | Manufacturer | Cooper | | Manufacturer Part Number | 170280048 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 60000 Miles | | Maximum Pressure | 80 psi | | Model Number | 170280048 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Ply | 2-Ply | | Rim Size | 17 inches | | Rim Width | 8.5 inches | | Seasons | Year Round | | Section Width | 28.5 centimeters | | Size | 285/70R17 | | Speed Rating | S | | Tire Aspect Ratio | 70 | | Tire Diameter | 32.76 | | Tread Depth | 17 millimeters | | Tread Type | Non-Directional | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 029142992943 | | Vehicle Tire Iso Metric Size Description | 285/70R17 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cooper - **Load Capacity:** 3750 pounds - **Load Index:** 126 - **Rim Size:** 17 inches - **Section Width:** 28.5 centimeters - **Size:** 285/70R17 - **Speed Rating:** S - **Tire Aspect Ratio:** 70 - **Tread Depth:** 17 millimeters - **Tread Type:** Non-Directional ## Images ![Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT All-Terrain Tire, LT285/70R17, Set of 1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710tVf4Ia8L.jpg) ![Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT All-Terrain Tire, LT285/70R17, Set of 1 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818YTEy66CL.jpg) ![Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT All-Terrain Tire, LT285/70R17, Set of 1 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81GD-jdprIL.jpg) ![Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT All-Terrain Tire, LT285/70R17, Set of 1 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DuCKYKkhL.jpg) ![Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT All-Terrain Tire, LT285/70R17, Set of 1 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7136sTnxs8L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT All-Terrain Tire, LT285/70R17, Set of 1 - FRAM Extra Guard CA10261 Replacement Engine Air Filter for 2007-2022 Dodge Ram 2500-5500 (6.4L & 6.7L), Provides Up to 12 Months or 12,000 Miles Filter Protection - Mopar Engine Oil Filter - 5083285AA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/636671469-cooper-discoverer-stronghold-at-all-terrain-tire-lt285-70r17-set](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/636671469-cooper-discoverer-stronghold-at-all-terrain-tire-lt285-70r17-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
