This box is nice. The magnets are strong, the finish is fantastic, the fit of the lid is nearly perfect, and the dragon looks pretty cool. If you've got the money, and you're really dedicated to having a nice set of RPG dice, this is a good one. The bag is also really good. This is the kind of thing you can display on a shelf. My only dislike is that the D20 is hard to get out with fingers and leaves an impression in the foam, but I think that's nitpicking. Everything else is good.

Beautifully carved box! Design is great and smelled fresh like the wood it's carved from. Comes with a nice velvet like bag to help prevent nicks. My players were a little jealous when I revealed it, lol. The lid is very secure and I don't worry about my metal dice ever falling out. I will say dice do rattle a lot in there, but I knew from pictures that they would. I recommend this highly for the craftsmanship, ascetic, and pure cool factor.

This dice box is awesome! The only reason I returned it is because I discovered that the elderwood academy website had more options for engraving, type of wood etc. There were a couple of imperfections in the wood but that's what you get when you're working with real wood. The magnets hold very well!! Not so strong as to make it inconvenient but it's definitely secure. The cherry wood smells really amazing, too. My only issue occured in the shipping, but it was my carriers fault- said they attempted delivery when they didn't, then said I have to pick it up at the carrier, but then on the day it said to do that it got delivered to me at home anyways. I would buy again from this vendor, and i was very satisfied with this product, only returned it because I found one that suited the giftee's taste better!

This is my first purchase from Elderwood and I have to say the design and feel of the wood is amazing! The magnets are really strong so you don’t have to worry about the box opening if it’s dropped on accident. It’s able to hold my metal dice without any issue and the foam on the back of the lid keeps it from scratching it. My only complaint would be the small scratch on the bottom of the box when it arrived but it’s hardly an issue. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it.

This case is beautifully crafted and very well designed. The magnetic lid keeps the dice from falling out in transit and the compartments inside allow a variety of dice to be carried. I especially like that all the slots are one size so if you want to carry seven d20 you can or if you want to mix and match that is easy as well.

This is a great storage case. It is well made and holds together very well. Mine had a few flaws, one was unavoidable (blemishes from the wood) and some so minor it almost goes unnoticed. The carving of the dragon is very cool! I would recommend this to my friends.

Ok for starters the magnets are very strong. So even if you have heavy dice the two sides stay together. The wood work is beautiful especially the top. I will say this is your magnets don't like up your case will not close. Honestly wanted this a while and I'm very happy with this dice holder. There no pading inside so some dice move a little bit.

The box is generally in good shape, standard RPG dice fit well and it is able to close easily. The dragon relief is excellent quality and the wood has a beautiful scent of cherrywood. However, only giving this 3 stars because the box top has a large crack in the wood grain. The box is still functional but it is really an eye sore. I am disappointed for having to pay full price for this with a significant aesthetic defect like that.
