It took us a while but we eventually figured it out. Once you have it up and running it is hilarious and had us choking with laughter. **Q: What country is this parrot made in ?** A: Well we do not have the packaging anymore but I am thinking China?? I could be wrong. **Q: Does it stay on till I turn it off ?** A: It has 2 "off" options. You can shut it down totally by the switch inside the Velcro opening in back. There is also an option for "stand by" on one of the feet.
