ALTRAWomen's Escalante Racer 2 Road Running Shoe

Good transition from barefoot sneakers - comfy!
I wear primarily barefoot sneakers for everything but my chiro recommended I give Altras a try for running after a foot injury. I like these because they are pretty close to what I am used to with my barefoot shoes - plenty of toe box room, doesn't have a super thick sole, pretty flexible. They've been comfy so far for my short runs.

ALWAYS Altras
I have a wide toe box on my feet, and Altras are the only comfortable walking/running shoes for me. I also like that these shoes have zero drop. So much better for your feet! The style/color is cute. I get a lot of compliments and inquiries.

My favorite Altra so far
These fit true to size and are comfortable right out of the box. I wear these to Orangetheory and they're great on the treads, floor, and the rower. One thing not obvious from the pictures is that the top of the shoe is a tight mesh. Your sock color shows through on the top and my orange Bombas are a perfect accent. It's the little things. I really like the look and think the mesh keeps my feet a little cooler.

Great shoe, low profile walking shoe.
Great shoe. Nicely cushioned, low arch, almost barefoot but with a low bit of arch support. Really like! Excellent for my Plantar Fascitis! Nice support - Not a flat shoe.

Disappointed , Low quality New manufacturer?
Disappointed , Low quality New manufacturer? Replacement for my Riviera 2's. Much cheaper material, construction with no support. Told by several people, this was the closest to replace my Riviera twos, which are discontinued. No comparison quality wise. My Riviera 2's The best sneaker I have ever had. Wide tow box, zero drop, long, soft shoelaces, and Support.

Not a good shoe
So terrible. These are not like the racer 1 at all. The sole is thick and has no flex. Like I said… terrible.
