Just finished the lost brother and enjoyed it very much. Well written and captivating characters. Another hit as far as I'm concerned. Can't wait for the next instalment.

4 star read
I was given an ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The story continues from Dead Beginnings. I feel this was a better book than Dead Beginnings, I enjoyed getting the chance to read not just Rosannah and Raphael's POV but also Brianna's. Again the story is not fully resolved. I have to admit after reading I was left wondering who the 'unknown' person/people are and what exactly do they have in store for Raphael and Rosannah. It's a sign of a good book if you are still thinking about it for hours afterwards!#AbFabRuth

If I had to find a complaint with this book is that I am now eagerly awaiting book 3.I love the character Rosannah. As the reader I felt I could feel every emotion that Rosannah went through and how she is feeling.Rosannah is having to face up to reality and boy doesn't hit her with a bang. Whilst she is questioning her sanity others around her are also questioning Rosanna's sanity.I loved the way the new characters brought more to this book. This book will not only make you wanting more and more. If you the reader are anything like me and say to yourself just one more chapter and before you know it you've read the whole book and woken up on the settee with your kindle still in your hands lol.

The Story Just Gets Better
This book picked up where the last one had finished, with Rosannah having fled from Raphael’s house. Only problem is did she just dream those moments and people! This is a better book than the 1st one in that I felt I understood the characters a bit better. I didn't hate Raphael quite as much as in the 1st book either.Unlike the 1st book this is done from the POV of 3 of the characters (4 if you count the evil ‘persons’ POV from the final chapter) which helps you as a reader see a bit of what is happening outside of the couple. The thing that I like about this series is that the vampires aren't portrayed as ‘nice’. Indeed Raphael is not overly nice to Rosannah a lot of the time. Too many vampire books portray them as nice misunderstood creatures who occasionally sparkle. To be honest my only complaint is that it ends in a cliffhanger, I hate cliffhangers. Purely because I want to know what is going to happen next right away. Please note I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
