Another nice set from Lego Friends
As another season lands. so does another load of Lego sets. I checked out this, one of the latest from the Friends range, which for the summer is seeing the larger sized figures take to a series of outdoor pursuits and other interesting jobs. This car is a very straightforward build - there aren't a lot of pieces here but what you end up with is decent quality and provides plenty of play-ability - there are bright colours, moving parts and figures that can be positioned. The instructions for the build are easy to follow and the pieces inter-changeable with all the usual sets and designs.Overall then this is another great set from the latest Lego range that I can see younger kids enjoying.

Perfect entry point for young builders
In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ The car is the main build in this set. Although it's simple to make, for a younger child (about 4-5 years old) it would be a perfect entry point into building Lego sets independently.+ The manual is superb. Although it's only a small set, it's over 60 pages long - each step is spread over two pages, with the first telling you what piece(s) you need and the second showing you exactly what to do. They are very small steps, enabling younger children to try it themselves.Things I didn't like:- It's a small set. But it's cheap at £9, so I don't think this is an issue.Do I recommend this?1000%. Perfect entry point for young builders thanks to the extremely well thought out build guide included.

Nice and good for learning
This set is ideal for my younger nephew to learn more about Lego building and assembly. The manual walks you through the pieces and how to put them together without being too complicated or assuming. The manual colours are a lot more realistic to the pieces than the larger models. An excellent learning Lego set and fun to assemble.

Ideal Lego set for a young animal lover
First impressions of this set were really positive, it comes in a nice Lego branded box which shows what’s inside. This particular set has 60 pieces; two mini-figures, two dog figures (one of which has a disability) a car, pool, fire hydrant, brushes and shampoo. My daughter is 5 and absolutely loved getting it all out and following the instructions to build the various bits which she was able to do with minimal input. Once built she’s still enjoyed playing with it, using her imagination to create various different scenarios with the figures and accessories.Overall I think this is a really nice set, especially for the price. With that in mind I’d happily recommend it.
