I thought the website did not say the heater CUP NOT INCLUDED, so I tagged it for purchase & delivery the next day. I was very disappointed when it arrived w/o the cup. However, it turns out the heater surface is the exact size of of the hotel's flat bottomed, glass, 4 cup coffee maker!Wonderful!! It heats to 180°F, 170°F, 140°F, and timer sets for 1, 4, 6, 8 hours. Excellent quality, great value. Would buy again.

This is my 4th try to replace a 20+ year old coffee cup warmer. This is the only one that keeps coffee hot in all of my ceramic mugs - some of which have a slightly concave bottom. It's a keeper!!!

This was purchased to replace an older warmer that burned out after several years. It worked out of the box exactly as advertised. I like the temp readout and the setup is intuitive. It gets used every day and has worked well so far.

I loved this warmer. Kept my tea at a perfect temperature, until this morning. A cup of tea spilled, and the unit, amidst a puff of smoke, shorted out.

Finally bought a cup warmer for my desk and I love it! This one works great and has different temps depending on the type of cup you're using. Totally worth it!

Plug it in, set your temp and never have cold cup of coffee. Price was low, with a high quality look and finish. What more can I say?

Temperature buttons were slightly conusing at first. The one that looks like a coffee cup sets the mug material type: glass, metal or ceramic. The one that looks like heat waves moves between three temperature levels plus "off". The actual temp of each of the three levels varies depending which mug material you choose. All temps are displayed in farenheit as follows:Ceramic - low: 130, med: 150, high: 170Glass - low: 140, med: 160, high: 176Metal - low: 145, med: 165, high: 180When it turns on after being off for a while, it remembers whether your last selection was ceramic, glass, or metal, but it doesn't remember the temp. It always starts at the highest temp for your mug material, and you can lower it from there if desired.The burner area is sunk down from the surface about 1/4 inch, which isn't obvious from the photos. Seems to work well -- keeps my beverages hot. I like the auto-shutoff after X hours, and when you lift the mug off.

I'm VERY particular about my coffee temp. I have an EMBER, which is expensive and finicky so was looking for a warming plate. Regular coffee warmers only go to 135 F (guess there's some government limitation?) so finding this was great. Types of cups; varying degree levels; auto off....exactly what I was looking for EXCEPT ...I tested coffee, set at 170F on warmer for ceramic, mid temp. The coffee started at 186, fell to 170, and kept falling to 130. Tested with instant read thermometer. Tried it a couple times with different settings, same results. Total failure as far as I'm concerned.
