Neat idea for a 60W USB charging cable (Only supports USB 2.0 data speeds)
There's magnetic material built-in to the jacket of this flat charging cable that makes it magnetic to itself. This helps keeps the cable coiled when not in use. Pretty clever idea. Note that this is only ideal for charging - not for high-speed data use. I tested the cable using a Passmark USBPD tester, along with a certified 100W USBPD source to verify that the cable would pass through and support the rated power of 60W. When attached to my tester, here's what the cable passed: Sun Jul 14 15:29:23 2024: Information- PassMark Power Delivery Tester V1.1 1023 Sun Jul 14 15:29:23 2024: Information- PMPD6DAT21 added to list Sun Jul 14 15:29:24 2024: Information- Device PMPD6DAT21 selected Sun Jul 14 15:29:24 2024: Information- Model: PM125 (Hardware Revision: 2.0) Sun Jul 14 15:29:24 2024: Information- Firmware Version: 4.6 Sun Jul 14 15:30:01 2024: Diagnostics- Port detected capabilities: Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- PD-FIX Voltage:5.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- PD-FIX Voltage:9.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- PD-FIX Voltage:12.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- PD-FIX Voltage:15.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- PD-FIX Voltage:20.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- PD-APDO Voltage:3.30V-21.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- USBC-3A Voltage:5.00V Max Current:3000mA Sun Jul 14 15:31:00 2024: Diagnostics- LEGACY Voltage:5.00V Max Current:500mA All good! Max power is 60W, and the 100W contracts have been removed since the cable doesn't support 5A of current. The next test was to select 20V at 3A and see if the cable derated as the load increased. See the attached graph for those test results, but they were right down the line in the green, so it's a pass. I'd like to see a 100W USBPD version!

Don't buy
LOVE the concept, but the cable stopped working after a couple of months. I believe the cable became disconnected from the plug.

Some concerns about durability
This cable is very interesting. It's extraordinarily easy to roll up and relatively easy to manipulate. It loves to stay in its rolled form but is perfectly comfortable with letting me unroll as much of it as I need to plug in whatever device I'm trying to charge. When I'm ready to pack it up, it happily aligns itself into a perfectly-flat spiral of cable and contentedly sleeps that way until I unroll it again. Because the cable is magnetic, it will only roll up in one direction and can't fold back on itself - because that's how magnetic poles work - but that is generally a non-issue, since the magnets keep unused cable length plenty tidy in its wound-up spiral. I do have some concerns about durability. Flexible magnetic tape gets brittle and starts breaking into pieces after a while. I have no doubt that the magnets that make this ingenious cable function as it does will have the same problem. The braided exterior may help to mitigate that, and careful control of environment will push out this degradation even further, but I anticipate that these cables will need to be replaced once every couple of years. Regularly replacing charging cables is not something I have to worry about with a standard charging cable, since almost every device that needs a charging cable comes with one. I have collected quite a large stash of them, as I'm sure most people have, from the various devices that charge by USB-C. If I want a really nice charging cable like this, though, I have to spend the quite high price to buy one. $30 is no joke, when what you're getting is just a nicely-packaged charging cable. To be realistic, however, I am probably not the best target buyer for the Lup magnetic cable. While it's excellent to be able to carry a cable around conveniently without having to worry about cable ties or other methods of cable control on the go, I don't need charging on-the-go enough for this to be a major concern for me. 90% of the time, charging of my devices is done from my home, my office, or my car, all of which have dedicated charging cables at the ready at all times. Someone who spends a lot of time in places that they can't call their own - such as in airports, rail stations, net cafes, and hotels - would find the Lup magnetic cable to be a much more beneficial tool, as they're far more likely to need to unwind and rewind a cable several times per week, or even several times per day if they are constantly on the move. That said, I think there are much less expensive options, such as retractable cords and cable ties, that could serve the purpose just as effectively and efficiently, if not as elegantly, for a fraction of the cost of the Lup magnetic cable. In summary, the Lup magnetic cable provides an elegant solution for on-the-go cable management, but the price point is far too high for me to think of it as practical, especially given concerns over a need to replace each cable every couple of years. For those who value aesthetics over frugality, this might not be such a stretch, but given the provision of other solutions at much lower prices, I find this to be frivolous at best.

Great service, nice product.
This has a one-year warranty. I purchased this about 350 days ago, and this week, the cord stopped charging without me needing to fidget with it and get it in just the right spot. It looks like the end was getting a bit frayed from the cord. I emailed them, and they are sending a new one. Great service. Great product.

Very useful when Traveling.
Great for using it in a newer vehicle to charge your phone. I store it in my center console if needed. Great quality and being magnetic, it rolls up for easy storage.

Solid
Really loving this charger! It’s portable, flexible, and I don’t feel like it’s going to break at each end like other cords.
