Relies on numbered menus to operate, just what an 86 year old needs!!!! I guess the loudness functions are what it is all about. I am certain it will be useful for one of my age. Perhaps a newer more user friendly model will appear one day, until then what else can I use. Bearing in mind the cost of the item, under £100.00 what should I have really expected? It is indeed very loud and with flashing lights to match.
