I bought this pair of Beats headphones for my dad, and he absolutely loves them! I've been a Beats fan for years and have owned my own pair since 2020. Mine are the older version, and these are the newer model. I purchased them during Amazon's June sale, and it was definitely worth it. They normally sell for around $150 or even more, so getting them at a discount was a great deal. If you're thinking about buying a pair, I recommend waiting for a major sale like Labor Day or Prime Day—you can save a lot of money. I highly recommend these headphones. Bought these for my husband for his birthday. I have these in the grey color and they are amazing especially for the price point! We used to be airpod users but after finding these, we are never going back. The charge lasts forever; they charge up SO FAST and they do everything the others can do but better. They fit comfortably and the noise cancelation is SO GOOD! They connect to your phone right away and you can see the charge percentage and adjust all the things on your phone to customize it to your needs. I would repurchase a 3rd time!!!

Love the sound but still hate these buds that won't stay in your ears.

Completely underwhelmed. I had my hopes up for the Beats Solo Buds, mainly because they have a physical button. That was the main reason I bought them. Unfortunately, the button is also one of the biggest disappointments. I have another pair of earbuds that I can turn off by holding the button. That is extremely useful when I want to shut off one earbud and slip it into my pocket. The Beats Solo Buds do not appear to work that way. As far as I can tell, they only power off when placed back in the case. That is a major design miss, especially because the case itself does not have a battery. What the heck is that about? The physical controls are not all bad. I do like having real button controls for play/pause, volume up/down, and track controls. That part is useful. But not being able to manually turn the earbuds off from the button kills much of the value of having a physical button in the first place. The second major issue is the case. It is not a real charging case. It is basically a storage case with USB-C charging only. You get the earbud battery life, and that is it. Once they are drained, you need an external power source. That may be acceptable for some people, but for earbuds I carry around, it is a bad compromise. That said, I do like the size and shape of the case, but the lack of a case battery kills that advantage. The third issue is sound quality. They sound cheap. I have another set of earbuds that cost almost half as much when I bought them and have noticeably better bass and fuller sound. I would name them, but they are no longer made, so there is no point. The Beats Solo Buds are not awful, but they do not sound like they justify the price. I do not think these are worth more than $25 - $30. My category ratings: Durability: The Amazon pages states these earbuds are not IPX4, sweat and water resistant, resistant. That is not impressive for $80 earbuds meant to be carried around. 2/10 Comfort: They are comfortable enough, though the fit feels a little odd. 7/10 Ease of use: Good marks for having physical buttons, but they lose most of those points because I cannot simply hold the button to turn them off and put them in my pocket. 2/10 Noise cancellation: They do not have active noise cancellation, or ANC. 0/10 Volume / sound: Volume is acceptable, but the overall sound is thin and cheap for the price. 3/10 Bottom line: I plan to return these. They are not worth the price. The physical buttons are a good idea, but Beats wasted the opportunity by not allowing a simple manual power-off function. Combine that with no battery in the case, no ANC, and unimpressive sound, and the Beats Solo Buds feel like a compromised product rather than the premium product the marketing suggests. One other note: because of the less than stellar reviews of the other Beats products, here on Amazon, I won't be buying other Beats products. Overall score: 3/10

im conflicted. very easy to lose but decent quality on most songs. it has noise cancellation but mainly at full volume. these things charge oddly.. i think it charges one ear-pod by one. some days i leave case on charger and one is at 100% while the other is on 1%. could be a defect. overall for the price i think these are a win..just try not to lose them lol. the fit is decent they give interchangeable ear tips sometimes they hurt my ears if i wear them for prolonged periods of time. im an artist so i give these a 7/10.

They are nice. They have a really good sound, my problem is is I have such small air canals they don’t stay in. I do have a recommend them if you don’t have smaller cans.

These are really good comfortable earbuds. I’ve always been a fan of this brand & I was surprised by the quality of sound. It doesn’t have ANC, but that’s really not something you’ll notice because they still do a pretty decent job at blocking outside noise. It’s super easy to set up, literally open the case & connect. They will connect automatically once paired & you can seamlessly switch between your phone & Mac. It comes with buttons on each side & you can fully customize what they do in your iPhone settings once connected. As a plus, the case is extremely lightweight & small so they fit in your pocket without you noticing! I’m usually someone who can’t wear these devices for long as my ears hurt, but you can trust these earbuds to stay on your ears without you noticing, that’s how comfortable they are. I haven’t gone to the gym with these so I can’t comment on that experience. I have to say the mic quality isn’t the best, so don’t expect crispy clear communication when you’re on a call with someone else. They charge rather quickly but the battery isn’t top of the market. Still, if you use them occasionally for music, TV shows and such, you’ll find yourself charging them only a couple times a week. Overall it’s a great value for the price & Beats are usually built to last you a long time. Would definitely go for these instead of the “pro” version (Beats Studio Buds+) since if you’re a regular customer you won’t feel the difference other than in your wallet.

I bought these on a whim, and now I really regret my purchase. I got them used for a decent price, but what I did not know was that these Beats lack the required chip to have Siri announce texts, phone calls, etc, which is vital to me for work. They have great battery life, no complaints there, but still, without the ability to keep in touch with my phone without checking it constantly, these are basically worthless for my purposes. Otherwise, they are okay. As I mentioned, battery life is excellent, and they stay in my ears reasonably well, though the left one fell out a couple of times. Sound quality is just okay, but I don’t demand much in that department as long as I can hear my music. These Beats would probably be best suited for a young person who just wants a pair of Beats to listen to music and none of the other features Beats usually include. They are really an economy product, and it definitely shows - you don’t even get a light in the case to indicate the battery is charging. That’s another thing - these Beats cannot be charged by the case - they must be in the case and plugged in to charge. Another star off! If you’re looking for an economy Beats product with almost no features, these Beats might be for you. However, if you’re used to the other models of Beats, as I am, these are a pretty poor substitute. Save your money and get a better model - you will be glad you did!

Very good earbuds. They are comfortable in my ears and feel great even after wearing them for a while. They block out most of the outside noise, and the audio quality when connected to my phone is really good—clear and with great sound. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bought for my son to use while on his ATV He said they fit well under his Helmet. Great sound quality and they stay charged a long time. He loves them.

The Beats Solo Buds fall short of expectations, offering subpar performance that doesn't justify their price tag. I am returning these. These earbuds should be priced no higher than $50 given their significant limitations. Sound quality is the most disappointing aspect of the Solo Buds. While Beats has delivered impressive audio in some of their higher-end models, they've clearly cut corners here. The bass lacks depth and punch, while the mids and highs sound muddy and lack clarity. Even with Spatial Audio enabled on compatible tracks, the overall audio experience remains underwhelming. Another major drawback is the Solo Buds' limited functionality. Unlike many competitors in this price range, these earbuds lack active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and wear detection. The absence of these features, which are increasingly common even in budget earbuds, severely hampers their versatility and user experience. Volume is another area where the Solo Buds struggle. Even at maximum settings, they fail to deliver sufficient loudness for many listening environments. This inadequacy is particularly noticeable in noisier settings like gyms or public transportation, where users may find themselves straining to hear their audio content. The physical controls on the Solo Buds are also problematic. The buttons are uncomfortable to press and can cause discomfort when used frequently. This poor design choice further detracts from the overall user experience. While the Solo Buds do offer some positives, such as a compact design and decent battery life, these advantages are overshadowed by their fundamental shortcomings in sound quality and functionality.
