Very good value for the price. Durable crib with just a few minor drawbacks.
This crib is really great - especially for the price. As any new parent is probably aware, cribs at the big box store can be VERY expensive (usually between 400-600 dollars). I did a lot of looking around at different cribs online and at brick and mortar stores before settling on this Delta crib. I actually got this one along with the dresser for less than the price I would have paid in the store for just the crib. It is worth noting that this crib is very sturdy, and was pretty comparable with the higher priced cribs. I also really like that this crib can be changed into a toddler bed and then a bed (it remains to be seen if it will last this long or not, however). As some of the other reviewers noted, the screw heads are not covered (I mean really, how much would it cost to throw a few caps in so you wouldn't see them). However, the screws are a dark color to match the crib, so you really don't notice them. You could go to your local hardware store to get some caps if this does bother you. Also, some reviewers noted that the wood is "really soft", but this has not been my experience. I really feel that this is a great value for the price.PROS:*#1, hands down is the value for the price - I looked all over and couldn't find a better deal*Finish (espresso cherry) is very attractive, I have had many compliments on it*Easy to assemble - my husband and I were able to set this up in under an hour*Convertible to toddler bed/crib*Numerous height settings - you can adjust how high the mattress is as your baby grows*Weight - this crib is relatively light, which some people might think is a con, but I can easily move it around the room and clean underneath it (something that happens more than you'll imagine with a baby!)CONS:*Screw heads are exposed - however, it is worth noting that they are sunk and not really obvious because they are dark colored like the crib*Stickers can be hard to remove - like most companies they put caution and labeling stickers on the crib which are near impossible to take off without leaving residue. Can't they put stickers on that can be easily removed????All in all, I would recommend this crib to a friend/fellow mommy and I will be getting another one when/if I have another child.

Very nice quality
Easy for my husband to put together, and good quality. Looks great in my sons nursery and was well packaged. There wasn't any flaws in the finish/paint. Great value for the money, and I can easily store stuff underneath it as it's blocked from sight by the bedskirt.

Beautiful, easy to assemble, good materials.
Purchased for my granddaughter when she visits. Love the color, ease of instructions. Beautifully crafted. I love this crib.

Beautiful!
Came quickly and super early in the morning so it wouldn’t be sitting out front until someone could get home. Fairly easy to put together. It’s honestly very nice quality and the price is good. Love that it already had a mattress-they are typically $100+ if you buy separately from a crib frame. I will update this and let y’all know how well it converts when it’s time to change to a toddler bed (baby is due Feb. 2023 so may be a lil while haha)It is easy to change the mattress height while it’s a crib though. You Definitely will want to start with it being at the highest point so you don’t kill your back putting baby in crib.

We love our Carter Crib!!
Currently in the process of setting up a nursery for baby #2 and as soon as I pulled this crib from the box, I loved it! The color is so good and clean. I went with the white and got the matching changing table by Delta Children as well...so cute!! For the price and what you get, definitely recommend.

For the price, it's hard to complain about this crib
The summary of this review is that the crib is a good value for the price. I fear my review might sound overly negative but if you take it from the perspective of what you would expect at this price point, it meets all criteria you would expect. I purchased for my grandson to use at my house so it's only likely to be used a couple of times per month at most. The overall rating is based on that type of expected usage.First, a warning. Assemble it in the room it will live in. Once assembled, it's not going to fit thru a standard 32 inch interior door. Not at any angle. I should know better but listened to my better half and assembled in the comfort of my living room, only to have to partially disassemble to get it into the bedroom after several attempts to get it thru the doorway on different angles. Learn from my mistakes.Second, the positives. It's nice looking crib and it will certainly support a baby thru a toddler. It feels solid, even after having to do a partial disassembly/re-assembly. All of the edges are smooth and everything appears to be up to safety standards. Overall, a very functional piece. My daughter (the baby's mother) even commented that it was fancy (i.e. 'bourgie', as the young people say). I would not call it that but appearances do make it look that way.Assembly was not overly complicated. There are a couple of points where it would be nice to have a second set of hands but I was able to accomplish on my own. I've built a lot of these types of things so I know the tricks. The instructions were fair to middling -- they tell you enough to get it together but they could've added a couple of pictures for both the left and right railing assembly. While they are mirror images, it's hard to know for certain the direction it should face when disassembled. Most parts and hardware were marked with stickers (A, B, C, etc) so that made it easier as well. All in all, a mildly handy individual should be able to assemble in 30-60 minutes. Finally, the negatives. To repeat myself, this crib will certainly be fine for my usage -- a few times per month. I think it would also be fine for everyday usage for a year or two. I'm not sure about anything past that. Definitely not an heirloom piece but if you are expecting that for under $200, you're delusional. I would not purchase with the intent to use it as a twin size bed (those pieces cost extra and I'm not convinced it's worth it or will last that long). The top realistic negative is that there was a small odor from the crib that lasted for 24 or so hours. It didn't seem toxic but it didn't smell like lillies either. Unfortunately, I had received it the day I needed it so I didn't really have a chance to air it out and my grandson slept in it under those conditions. He didn't seem to mind and if I thought it was at all dangerous, he would not have.Somewhat unrealistic negatives: It's pressed wood/particle wood. The veneer is smooth and looks like real wood but looking in the pre-drilled holes, you can see it's pressed wood. The weight of each piece also gives it away. I didn't really expect real, solid wood at this price but it's worth mentioning for anyone that cares. Also, assembly involves allen bolts with the included right size tool included. That is standard for this type of furniture but it's worth mentioning because these types of assemblies get weaker the more you disassemble and reassemble them and the more you move them. Thus, it's worth seeing my warning again about assembling in place to ensure you don't have any unnecessary disassembly.Again, I don't want this to sound overly negative because it's pretty much what should be expected for the price but it's good for perspective buyers to know what they are getting, thus the 4 star rating. This is not something you are going to pass down thru the generations but given how safety standards on cribs seem to constantly evolve, there aren't many cribs that last more then one generation. In the end, it's worth what I paid (under 200) and it will definitely serve my purpose.
