These work for me ... very happy user!
I’m really very happy with this product! I was given a set without the rack and bought a second with the rack. I’ve read some reviews that users have trouble with the silicon eggs falling over in the pot and spilling the egg trough the vent hole. You have to use a pot with a small enough base to keep them upright ... or until I got the rack, I set a canning jar full of water in the pan to take up excess space. But the rack works great.. no more tipping! I use a very small amount of Pam spray in them and then rub it around to coat the inside... doesn’t change the taste, but helps so the eggs pop right out. If you don’t use the oil, you have to slide a spoon around the out side to release the egg but then the cleanup is harder— I have to use the nylon scruffy side of the sponge. All in all... even if I have an “egg fail” once in a while with these, it’s no more and probably less than the losses I suffer boiling eggs in their shell and although I’ve made quite literally hundreds of hard boiled eggs in the past few years, I have never found a consistently good process for easy to peel eggs every time. I love these for soft boiled eggs and I also cooked a batch of egg white omelettes in them.. mixed the whites with spices and put them in the egg holders with a tidbit of cheese and chives and about a half tsp of salsa. Great little lunch add!

Makes great eggs but didn’t come as advertised
My cooker did not come with a cook book and the one page instructions are the same on both sides. No recipes or cleaning instructions. I watched a video that claims that it also comes with a little timer that you put in the water. Didn’t get that either. With that being said, I made some really yummy eggs!! Worked great. Followed the instructions exactly. Not as easy as just boiling in shell but WAY better than struggling to peel an egg without sacrificing half of it because the shell won’t come off! I would rather do this work on the front end versus when I’m hungry and in a hurry!

It doesn't come with instructions. Not worth it.
It doesn't come with instructions so you can't tell what you're supposed to do exactly until you've ruined at least three dozen eggs and by then you figure out it wasn't worth it. They don't cook right for soft-boiled and you have to scrape them out because they do stick. Tried boiling them AND microwaving them, and got the same results. You can't tell if they're undercooked or overcooked or just right. If you leave them in the microwaved for one whole minute expect either the cap explodes in your face or the yolk. So it's not for me. I'll go back to poaching in water and vinegar.

MUST HAVE FOR DEVIL EGGS
ESSENTIAL FOR DEVIL EGGS!With this little Gadget you can make whole deviled eggs not only that you can make take and serve all in the same little cup!Cook as you normally would an egg, take the lid off gently scoop out the yolk and you have a lovely little pocket that stays in a little cup. Whats more, you greased that cup so the egg can pop right out smooth n pretty. You put your deviled egg mixture inside that and then put the lid on. At that point it's ready to travel with no mess. BONUS when you pick these up out of the cup it's a no mess deviled eggs because of the shape of it nobody's going to get deviled egg filling on their clothes unless they have had too much eggnog ;) These can even be eaten with a small fork right in the cup. There are some things I learned to remember always with these.REMEMBER ALWAYSNO EGG BIGGER THAN LARGExlarge and jumbo will make a mess, a really nasty egg white boiling water mix that can...I can't talk about that lesson <sob> It was every where, my poor stove.OIL LIGHTLYUnless you are an eccentric like me who boils there dish water, you will ruin your egg cups and your eggs.USE EGG RACKor what was described in scenario one will happen to youFILL WITH WATER TO BOTTOM EDGE OF RED RINGor you get some kind of funky steam fried eggs thingUSE INSTAPOTon the soft boil egg setting, allow to sit. eggs will overcook in these cups very easily. cooking time for more than 3 minutes has resulted in rubbery eggs in all my experiments. I have an instant pot Duo 6.CLEANING CLEANING CLEANINGthe handle on these cups is hollow. there are very fine threads on the Rings and the lid. egg particle can very easily get into the spaces. To prevent salmonella and food poisoning I clean this by hand with a brush and a little pic to make sure everything is out of it. It only takes 15 seconds to do but it saves trip to the emergency room.SummaryI am so glad I bought these I'm going to buy more. I'm going to experiment with food color in the whites of these for Easter!
