White Paper Straws 50/Pack by PodPaks

We tried quite a few paper straws, and have definitely settled on these. My wife has lately been fitted with braces, and while they're on she's been told she needs to limit or eliminate coffee and other acidic/staining liquids, and wherever possible, use a straw. Plastic straws don't mix well with hot liquids- plus they're not good for the environment- so we started looking for a paper alternative. She now carries these straws everywhere in her handbag (in an old toothbrush travel case, which just happens to be exactly the right length). A lot of paper straws out there are flimsy; these stand up to coffee and tea extremely well. They're thick and sturdy and take quite some time before they start to unravel in the drink. Plus they're not some garish color that looks idiotic while you're sipping coffee at a diner, or having a mimosa at a nicer restaurant. And you just toss them in the recyclable bin when you use them at home. Definitely the straws for us.

Nothing fancy, I bought these because I want to try and help save our plant from unneeded plastics. These staws did what they are supposed to do and can last more than one use. I feel good when I use them...I feel greener.

Bought these for a birthday party. Love the straws. And they are earth friendly!!

Need to get used to paper. Kind of get soggy after time but this is worth getting rid of plastic straws.

Work great, obviously do not last as long as plastic but worth it.
