This worked much better than expected! I didn’t think the caps would be cleaned well considering the cap isn’t agitated in the wash. Just basically thrown around. But I had two very filthy and yellow caps and they are as good as new. Keeps shape of caps pretty good too, considering it is a bulky size but I wouldn’t try youth caps as the crown will get stretched or not sit on the holder correctly.

This comes flat and requires slight assembly. Please make sure you align the index marks as you attach the curved part. Works great for light to medium cleaning. You may need to use soft brush or soapy water for serious stains. Then wash afterwards. They helped me save a favorite hat I received as a gift. I should have purchased these 10 years ago!

I would not recommend purchasing this item. Had to select at least one star to post this but if I could I would select none. It ruined two of my son’s hats. I’ve always used a hat cleaner with the plastic cage on both sides of the hat but saw this one and thought what the heck I’ll try it. Big mistake! It doesn’t keep the hats in place so they move around inside the mesh bag and crumples the front of the hats - misshaping them. I washed them on gentle cycle and did not put in dryer. I immediately took them out of washer to find them squished. I was excited to try this and now wish I had just stuck with the tried and true.

I was pretty pleased with this hat washer for the first two or three uses, as it did a good job protecting my hats. However, during my last wash on a low spin cycle with just a few pieces of clothing, it unfortunately didn't hold up. The inner plastic cage somehow got pushed out of position and snapped, and the outer mesh bag ripped near the edge. Because the plastic frame broke during the cycle, it ended up leaving white plastic shavings on my hat. It’s a great concept and gets the job done at first, but buy it knowing it may only last a few washes long term.

ordered a different item and returned it because it wouldn't stay together. This product is much better constructed and is a much better cage.

Cheap crap, turned up bent out of shape, one of the 2 cloth piece's didn't even fit cag piece - it was too small. Waste of money.

Good product. Protects hat from getting out of shape or damaged while in the washing machine.
