This monitor light bar works well and provides plenty of brightness for reading and working at my desk. It was easy to set up and connects conveniently through USB.The light is comfortable for the eyes and helps reduce glare on the screen.Overall, a practical and useful accessory that does exactly what I need.

The CATPOWER Computer Monitor Light Bar has solved a problem that computer monitors have had for years, providing a uniform light source across the desk. Most desk lamps provide a point source of light that provides a very localized light, leaving the remainder of the disk in the dark.This Monitor Light is a long bar that provides over 15 linear inches of light in a downward direction. The light bar is physically adjustable to 3 different downward positions by a simple twist of the light bar. There are 10 light levels selectable using the “+” and “-“ buttons on the control section. There are also 3 different color ranges available; bright white color, soft white color, and both colors combined.Installation is very easy, basically just clamp the light bar to the top of the monitor, and then plugging he cable into a USB 5v power source.

I’m so glad I found this light, it is so handy. I was getting so frustrated with my laptop, not being bright enough. I had it on the highest setting. It gives you so many options to brighten up your laptop screen to exactly where you need it. Great price as well!

I have a very large monitor and needed better lighting on my keyboard and desk. I bought two and they work great. Easy to install and turn on and off with the touch control. They are also very easy to adjust and look great.

The Good:1. Retains brightness setting if unplugged even though there is no mention of that as a feature2. More than adequately bright with 10 brightness settings and 3 color settings3. Cord is more than long enough on laptop but not too long4. Can be tilted so that it illuminates keyboard without blinding user or affecting laptop display5. Controls are easily reachable as they are positioned on cord close to where it plugs into laptop6. There is a soft cloth container provided for storing the lamp7. The clamp is cushioned, strong and has cutout so as not to cover the camera lense on the laptop lidThe Bad:1. The clamp is not deep enough to securely hold lamp when the laptop lid is closed if the lid is curved along it's edges (as is the lid on my Toshiba Satellite P755). As a result the lamp will either interfere with closing the laptop lid or if angled out so as not to interfere will fall off when the lid is closed. In either case if the lid is slightly rounded on it's edges the short depth of the clamp then makes it necessary to remove the lamp in order to close the lid.2. The light has 10 illumination settings but the lowest illumination is still more than I myself need or want.

very nice light bar, probably the best budget monitor light bar currently. Its got a decently long cable and has good controls for temperature and brightness. 10/10 blind buy

Great product does exactly as describe.Only issue is if you have a camera in built to your monitor then the light needs to be placed to the side of the camera and not in the middle of the computer monitor but otherwise no issues with the light.
