KastKing Royale Legend Pro Twin-Tip Spinning & Casting Fishing Rods

Seems this is the newer model which has the upgraded line guides(titanium frames with silicon nitride inserts). Older model had stainless steel frame and fazlite inserts? Very nice grippy handle, everything put together really well and the blue/purple is beautiful for those who like blue colors. It’s 2 piece and you get a backup upper piece! So the butt/handle and 2 of the upper sections, that’s value I haven’t seen offered by other brands. Feels as good in hand and has features equaling more expensive rods. Definitely recommend.

One of my favorite rods. Super light, extremely sensitive for a medium rod, and performs like a dream. First day out I caught my first red drum and the fish didn’t stand a chance against this powerhouse of a fishing rod. Another reason why it’s basically my daily is because of the color, it’s absolutely beautiful especially with the matching reel, every time I go out with this rod I get looks and compliments from other anglers. For the cost you can’t go wrong, an absolute must add to your fishing arsenal if your all about value. Lastly, I mainly do saltwater fishing, and this rod hold up at the pier and bank no problem.

I am in LOVE with this rod. I have ADHD, so if one little thing is "off" about something I buy, it ends up hated and languishing in a dark closet somewhere. NO WAY. First, the color is drop-dead gorgeous. It's nicely balanced and lightweight. When you slide this thing together, it's NOT coming apart on you. Lots of guides result in a nice, smooth cast - into the next county. Seriously. Pair this with the right reel, and you can land a frog on the beach in Hawaii from San Francisco. Okay, maybe not that far. (Maybe halfway) It's got a sensitive enough tip that you can feel even the slightest thump on your lures, but has enough backbone to haul a Rottweiler through your second floor apartment window. (No, I didn't do it, nor do I recommend it. This will land you in a heap of trouble). Right now, I have a crappy reel on it and I still am in love. I have a good reel arriving tomorrow, and once I get that, I might never need to date again, this is all the love I'll ever need. Granted, I've only been using it a few days, so I might amend this glowing review. But so far, so good. So, so good...

I recently added the KastKing Royale Legend Pro rod to my angling arsenal. I chose the casting Crankbait 7' M Moderate version from the 13 on offer. I wanted a little more backbone than my other rods had. This rod certainly has the backbone due to its multi-layer construction. But what has surprised me is just how sensitive it is. I can feel every bump, rock etc, on the bottom of my favorite lake. It is every bit as good as any of my other rods. Then too, I found its casting accuracy to be exceptional. I want accuracy even more than distance in my casting. But with this rod mounted with a KastKing Speed Demon Elite reel, I had both. This is my first rod with the micro style K-Frame guides. They too have lived up to my expectations. No tangles with KastKings braided line. I have not tried fluorocarbon yet. I shall probably do so in the near future. One more observation, this rod is incredibly light for its backbone and length. I would say that it is even lighter than my ultra light Ugly Stick. And that is saying something. All in all, I can highly recommend this rod. In fact, with its numerous potential styles, it just might be the only rod brand you will need for your own personal angling arsenal.

Great rod for the price. Normally I don’t buy 2 piece rods but this is quality build. The color, feel and handle grip are my favorite qualities. The rod is slightly on the medium feel instead of medium heavy but still good for shaky head or most Texas rig applications.
