Coolest Lego set!

I received this for my birthday and it was really fun to build but at one point (i think maybe page 47) I realized I had put a single clip wrong (due to unclear instructions) , but since everything was connected I had to take it all apart and rebuild it. I heavily relied on my imagination, since again, the instructions were not the best. It's really got nothing to it for being ~$50 as while it has ONE cool gimik, that's all. The pull back lever is funky and you need to remove at least 2 parts to get it to function properly, I ended up removing it entirely and just making my own design for the lever. It has door handles but not doors, it has an opening and closing hood, but no motor (i ended up tweaking the design so it would look like a motor), a steering wheel, but no steering, in fact, the steering wheel didn't even move itself. Poor design of use of parts and functionality, but it looked really good as a final model. Another thing is, even though it was hard to build, it still took only about a day to finish it. It was missing a plus shaped tube close to the end and nearly crashed out but ended up using one of my own parts and cutting it to length (annoying and stupid). All in all its value for money was not great. The ONLY reason i'm not giving this 2 stars is because its fun to play around with and tweak the design to my likeling, and also because its very durable, I accidently dropped it and it only lost a front light, and I even put it on a ramp and it was still fine.

Purchased this for my husband as a Christmas present after he saw one in the store. He spent many hours over the holiday break working on this, and it's now on display in our family room. It was challenging enough to keep him engaged. Lego provides detailed instructions. Definitely worth the purchase for a fun gift that he got a kick out of!

Bought as a Christmas gift for my nephew. He seems to like it. I have not seen the finished product yet. I have doubts that I ever will, but it looks pretty nice quality.

It was bought as a gift for a friend's boy. He immediately opened it up & put it together. He loves it.
