Works great for cleaning up the plastic trucks and helps tremendously when replacing the plastic wheels with steel.

A must have for anyone wanting to upgrade their old Tyco rolling stock or any old rolling stock that uses the old talgo type trucks. I had to cut off the rubber grip to fit under the gear box but still easy to use ish. I used this tool in combination with Bachmann 36” metal wheels since all my talgo trucks plastic wheels seem to be closer to 36”. Also setting my Kadee couplers with Kadee talgo adapters to the perfect hight. Rolling resistance is amazing too.

Must have for the scale railroader. Works great on all plastic HO scale freight trucks. I will admit, it’s very difficult to use. It’s very fiddely and you will need a pick or knife to pry the trucks to get it in. Once it’s in, it works great. Make sure to blow out the shavings when you’re done. Great product. Must have.

Works awesome. Makes wheel sets spin like no other. The little rubber gripper around the tool did not last long for me, but over all this is a precision instrument that yields fantastic results.

Good product

I used this on a set of old time passenger cars by Bachmann. The cars rolled so poorly that the 440 engine that came with the set could hardly pull them. After using this tool they finally roll well enough to run on my track. I think this is a very good tool that works. I plan on using it on the rest of my rolling stock.

This item is for boring a correct hole size on an HO scale truck for axels. It only bores one side at a time, NOT BOTH. There is a rubber thumb-wheel in the middle, which might cause interference with parts of a truck, especially if it is a KaDee extended coupler. Do not consider this a "toy" but a "tool" to properly modify a "toy," or more appropriately, a "model" train.

Great tool for anyone fine tuning your HO rolling stock.
