Brought this mainly for a 2.5 long tunnel near me and wanted a very bright torch (something much more substantial than my phone light). This did not disappoint, it is very bright and extremely useful in pitch black places. You can adjust the light width by using the front slide cylinder. With it all the way pushed in, it will light pretty much the whole area in front of you. As you pull the cylinder outwards, the light will become more focused, until it's all the way out when it turns into a spotlight that seems to go at least 1/4 of a mile. I went through a canal tunnel near me and took about 1 hour to walk through, and it only used 1 of the 4 bars of battery, so it seems to last for quite a while. Something I didn't realise when I received it is that the torch itself can be used as a battery charger for other things. It has a standard USB socket so you can charge your phone off it for example. The construction of it is very solid, all metal, and has a solid weight to it, all the more reassuring if you are somewhere pitch black in the dead of night, if you get my meaning. It has 3 settings, on full blast, about 60% dimmer brightness, and a flashing mode. You can get brighter ones than this, but if you are looking for a torch for night time walking, dark places, security rounds, power cuts, then this is more than enough.

Good basic but very bright torch. The torch arrived fully charged (all 4 blue charger lights on) and produced a very bright light which can be varied between wide angle and spot. The spot has a very long range - perhaps 500 metres. I deliberately left in on with the bright setting to see now light output varied. After an hour it became noticeably dimmer and then continued to reduce output until it went out after 2.5 hours. I then recharged it. It took 6 hours to charge using a 100w charger which was running at 7w output. Much of the time it didn’t seem to be charging at all - the 4 blue lights came on at irregular intervals. All 4 are now on again and torch is working well. The security flashing mode has a low frequency and I suspect would do little to frighten an attacker. The bottom line is this is a basic bright torch which serves its purpose. At £22 it is good value for money - assuming that it does not breakdown as described by some purchasers!

Torch seems well-made, heavy but not too much, and fits nicely in the hand. A nice change from the long thin ones whose contacts always seem to fail, hopefully this one they won't. So far, battery holding up well and not needing recharging. Not finding the little switch a problem as some have (it does feel like the likely point of failure though and will update this if that happens in the first year). The zoom works fine but so far more fun than utility. As others have said it is more than bright enough for certainly anything I might use it for, but nowhere near what is claimed - my offroad bike front light is brighter I'd say. The nice box it came in was ruined by being covered in big post stickers that wouldn't release. Shame.

VERY DODGY SELLER. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER. THEY SELL FAULTY PRODUCTS AND THEN LIE AND SAY THEY'LL REFUND WHEN THEY DON'T AND THEN IGNORE MESSAGES FROM CUSTOMER AND AMAZON. Im editing this so people stay away from this seller. Contacted about this torch and after too much back and forth he offered me refund to which i replied yes. This should have been the end but i am still waiting for refund 6 weeks later. They have also ignored Amazons request to refund. Luckily i had reported problem with Amazon so will get help from them but this a company that doesn't care about products they're selling or their customers. They sell bad products and then tell lies. I imagine they thought i wouldn't notice if I'd received refund or not. This could be a brilliant torch if it didn't die so suddenly It has 4 little lights that tell you how much power you have 4 lights being fully charged. 1 light should be 25% and under but torch died at 2 lights now doing it at 3. I was out with dog alone somewhere dark and torch just died. This left me unable to see where I was walking so could have got injured and extremely vulnerable being unable to see if anyone around. I will see if I can get hold of seller and if they offer help or replacement I will keep trying torch as could be faulty 1 but Amazon no longer make it easy to contact sellers

This is a really impressive product. Immensely bright and powerful. It comes in 3 modes - bright, lower power and flashing. The beam is adjustable between wide and specific spotlight Really solid quality build thst feels nice in your hand. Unfortunately had to give it 1 star as it now won't charge after only a month of owning it. Tried several different chargers, varying in power but unfortunately it doesn't give any implication that it's charging and battery indicator is still saying the same. Shame because this is a really nice product that I really liked. UPDATE: The aftersales team reached out providing brilliant customer service in offering a full refund or another product. All sorted now and back to being a very happy customer. Would definitely recommend

This is a very bright and compact torch with huge battery capacity compared to others in the same price bracket, but overall I am somewhat disappointed. At this price I'd expect inclusion of at least an lanyard (and even a pocket clip) but that is not the case; having said that, I accept it's my own mistake not paying enough attention to these details before ordering the item. Likes: - Brightness. - Battery capacity. - Charge indicator. Dislikes: - No lanyard or pocket clip. - Power switch: This is probably my single biggest issue with this torch. The power switch is quite deeply recessed underneath a rubber cover at the tail-end of the torch, making it extremely hard to use if you have fingers any bigger than those of a 4-year old. When I was looking for a torch I focused on Lumen rating, range, and battery capacity - that was a mistake (although there was no way I could have been aware of the power button issue - no reviews even referred to it). I will keep this torch, but I have already found another model on Amazon with the same Lumen rating, full digital charge % readout, more light modes (5 vs 3), lanyard, pocket clip, portable battery, far superior carry-case, and it even includes a separate mini UV-torch - all of this at at lower price; the only areas it loses out on being battery capacity (5000mAh vs. this 10800mAh) and claimed range (1500m vs. 1800m). It also has only half the LED chip watt rating (30W vs. 60W) but indications are that this does not directly translates to brightness or an inferior light beam It does imply, however, that given the respective battery capacities and consumption ratings, there shouldn't be a significant difference in battery life per charge; if anything, total battery lifetime should be longer for the torch with lower energy consumption rate. To wrap this up: I will not advise customers against buying this torch - I think it is good value overall; but I would advise them to decide which features are most important to them and properly compare different models, because I think there are better options out there.
