I bought this beautiful rain chain to hang from my carport. I actually just ordered a second one! I am getting erosion on the concrete pad corners from the rain coming off the fiberglass/aluminum drain edge. Hopefully this will be a beautiful..

This umbrella-shaped rain chain is a cute addition to our front gutter. We opted for the rain chain to avoid installing a downspout that wouldn't look as attractive. We've only had one decent rain since installing, but it appears to be doing its job. It splashes a little more than we'd like from the top umbrella, and the rainwater doesn't always travel straight down the chain. But it's an attractive option to divert water away from the house. It is nearly noiseless, though we also haven't yet had significant wind.

Pretty and strudy.

This rain chain is beautiful. It is also easy to hang. My issue with this item is that the umbrellas actually reverse the utility of the product. When the water hits the first one, it splashed off of it and practically sprays it everywhere. The water is splashed all over the porch. Almost none of it ends up in the rain barrel. I'm going to have to get up there with my tin snips and cut them up, probably cut them off.
