Absolutely love this KitchenAid flour mill attachment! It’s super easy to set up and fits perfectly on my mixer. I’ve already used it to grind wheat berries and oats, and the results are consistently great. The grind settings give me a lot of control, whether I want fine flour or something coarser. It’s surprisingly quiet and doesn’t heat up the grains too much. Cleanup is simple, just a quick brush and it’s good to go. I love knowing exactly what’s in my flour and being able to make fresh, wholesome bread at home. Totally worth it if you bake often or like doing things from scratch!

Grinds as listed and sturdy. Thanks.
Awesome attachment, fits perfect on our kitchen aid, and grinds fine grain. Sturdy and feels durable. Good value for its intended use. Easy to use and functions as it should.

Works perfectly
Great attachment for my kitchen aid - instead of having multiple machines these attachments are great and work very well. The grain mill creates very find powder which I need for baby food now and its easy to make things at home. Looks sleek and fits perfectly.

Not for fine flour!
Finally got around to using mill after researching recipes and ordering grain. It looked like the item had been used before (corn remnants in it) and returned. I cleaned and tried uaing anyways because we are outside the return window and I could not get the grain down to a flour. I had it set on the smallest setting and even tried running it through multiple times. The smallest I could get was a course meal.Do not buy if you’re looking to use your own grain for flour/baking!

Mill
I like the mill but it is a little slow. Need to stop every 20 minutes or so and let my mixer cool off. Other then that works well if you want to mill flour to make a few loaves of bread.

Great first time mill
After going down the rabbit hole of learning to make my own bread my sister said to try making my own flour for the sour dough bread. Lol! I bought all the different grains (in 5 lb bags so I have a ton of grains now) and this attachment was recommend as a good starter before purchasing an actual milling machine. If your familiar with your kitchen aid, hooking it up is easy. A lesson would beto have a damp cloth over the whole thing when using because dust went everywhere the first time I used it. It was easy to clean and worked well as I mentioned to start off before commiting to buying an expensive machine.

EASY TO CLEAN!
Collecting KitchenAid attachments has been a hobby of mine for a while, and while many go unused (like the juicer attachment and the grater) this one turned out to be very very useful. I no longer have to buy the final products at the store and get them possibly mixed with god knows what, I can make it at home and make sure everything is fresh and clean with no additives. The best thing about it? It is SOLID, many attachments are plastic and feel flimsy, not this one. It is solid metal and heavy, so you know you're getting your money's worth. Even though it is 3rd party, it does fit right in to my kitchen aid without any issue. It comes with tools to open it up and disassemble it, that way you can clean all the crevices where things can get stuck. It has a selector for the grinding and is very easy to use. Overall, it is definitely worth it, and a great addition to my kitchenaid, I know I will be using it more often now that I have additional attachments. All I am missing is a pasta one.

Broke my older machine :(
This grinder broke my mixer. I had a older mixer and it couldnt handle what the grinder was putting out. It was difficult to change the setting but the little bit i got to use was nice. Will be looking for a different one when i get a new machine
