I bought these roasting sticks with the intention of making s'mores, but little did I know, I was actually arming myself for a wilderness survival adventure! These things are sharp—like, "impale-a-log" sharp. Seriously, if you’re planning on roasting marshmallows, be careful not to skewer the entire forest in the process.After some trial and error (and a near miss with my hand), we decided these sticks were a little too lethal for casual campfire use. So, naturally, we took them out to the road and pounded them against the pavement to dull them down. Problem solved—sort of. Now they’re just sharp enough to roast marshmallows and the occasional squirrel or raccoon that wanders too close.On the plus side, these sticks have really broadened our campfire cuisine.
