Riva Paoletti Broadway Ringtop Eyelet Curtains (Pair) - Blue, Grey And Cream, 168cm x 229cm

Extremely disappointed with quality. The sewing of curtains is very poor and due to being striped material is very difficult to hide. The top hem and bottom hem side edges are not straight, therefore the stripe at the top of the curtain is wide and at the hem it is narrow due to how the lining has been sewn in to the curtain. I ordered 3 pairs which arrived on different days, therefore gave benefit of doubt thinking I had been sent a substandard pair of curtains, I made necessary alterations myself as curtains needed quickly. The other 2 pairs arrived the following day and were exactly the same. As I had already altered the first pair I could not return them, so I altered the other 2 pairs. After pressing and hanging the curtains I noticed a section of weave missing near the top eyelet on one curtain, of course it had to be on the pale stripe and not the dark, so it can be seen when curtain is open.Quality control at the manufacturers obviously not very good.I feel I have wasted my money and should have paid a little bit more for better quality although do feel that price should not affect quality, if someone is selling a product it should be of a high standard regardless of price!

I am very disappointed with this product as the photo portrays light colours but in reality the coffee colour is more like dark grey! I was unable to repack the pair I opened so have had to keep them but the other two packs I have returned at great cost. I don’t understand why I have to pay an astronomical amount to return this package, it has cost me €55.00 to send them back.In all not a good experience as I’ve had to keep a pair of curtains I don’t like and spend a lot of money to send the others back.

I bought a pair of the black stripe version of these curtains, I was a little concerned when I first opened them as the black stripe is actually dark navy blue with black mixed in, but when you hang them they do look perfectly black. They were only a little creased when unpacked but they ironed very easily (probably because they are quite thin).ProsThey are reasonably priced.The fabric is fault free.They hang well and look good.They are well made.ConsThe fabric is quite thin.The lining is very thin.They do not block much light at all.The hem stitching is in the lightest colour thread so shows on darker stripes.The stripe pattern does not match i.e. the edges that draw together are different colour stripes.Overall, for the price, I am happy with them.

The curtains looked really lovely and arrived on time. Like most curtains they were quite creased when taken out of packaging. I ironed them and thought then that there was a problem with the the edges. When I put them on the rail they looked great in the middle but absolutely dreadful at the sides. When I checked the ends whilst the curtains were hanging on the rail there was a 2cm difference at the bottom of the curtain -as shown in the photo (the other one was almost even). I appreciate that they weren’t very expensive but they were really badly finished. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

When i first opened them i must admit i was not very impressed.As mentioned in a previous review, the colours where not true.I knew before i ordered them they would be different to the picture.My lounge is very dark so the colour is ideal more prominent,but,not too dark as to darken the room more..I always put my own linings in ,as from past experience they are never adequate.Now they are hung they blend well with my colour scheme.I also bought a smaller pair as i want to make cushion covers to match.I would have given five stars but for the colours

Very fast delivery, I ordered on Sunday evening & the curtains were delivered Monday morning even though the delivery date was for Tuesday which I was more than happy with. Well packaged so no chance of damage in transport. On hanging the curtains, I immediately fell in love with them, they look & feel more expensive than they actually were & as I went for the full length drop , give my front room a cosy & luxurious feel. These curtains were the perfect finishing touch to my new home. Highly recommended.

For such inexpensive curtains (£29) I wasn’t really expecting much. We’ve just moved into a new flat and with nothing on the windows, bright lights from outside were awful. We’ve just got an extender pole up, and despite this makeshift arrangement )we had a blanket over it previously), it’s working really well.. They’re not heavy, I put them up easily myself whilst fixing the pole in place, and straight out of the packet they look good and smooth. The “red” isn’t raspberry but more of a terracotta in some lights, and the brown is a little grey. However they block out the light sufficiently, and a little noise, and they look nice. Very pleased. I was thinking I’d probably need to replace them but I think they’ll do. Very happy.Photo taken first thing in morning shows they’re not black out curtains as advertised but look quite nice and shows the colours. They block light sufficiently at night.

The cream stripe actually has a grey hue to them which makes the curtains look quite dirty and not as bright as the pictures. The curtains are very thin and almost see through so this stops them from being warmth to the room. They are great as a starting point but I will need to replace them for something that is a bit better quality.
