I got this to hold a gate closed but it was bigger than I thought. My husband helped me be able to use this for our chicken coop door instead. No predator is getting through this chain. It's durable, sturdy, functional, the cloth covering is really helpful because this chain is HOT during the summer and freezing during the winter

I'm able to secure three items with this long chain. Snowblower, Lawnmower, Generator. Actually I have another chain as well but this thicker one has sort of replaced it.. for now I have two locks and chains.This looks really tough. I know that pro thieves know how to cut through anything, but this chain raises the bar so that 95% of whoever might try won't be able to. The chain has a nice poly sleeve to help avoid scratches and make handling easier. The bag is nice for when the chain isn't in use.

This High Security Chain is solid, no doubt about it. At 10 feet long and 5/16” thick, it’s a beefy piece of hardware. The hardened steel really does the job, making it cut-proof and giving me peace of mind when securing Ecoflow solar generator to my trailer.However, I’ve knocked off one star for a design oversight. There isn’t an enlarged link or hardened connector at each end of the chain. My Kryptonite lock, which has a larger shackle, doesn’t fit through the end links of this chain. I have another chain that includes larger, hardened end connectors, allowing me to loop one end through the other. This chain doesn’t offer that convenience, which means I have to use a lock with a smaller shackle. While it works, it doesn’t feel as secure as I’d like compared to the robust protection the chain itself offers.In summary, the chain is top-notch in terms of build and security, but the lack of versatile end connectors limits its usability with larger locks. If you’re okay with using a smaller shackle, this chain will serve you well.

Super heavy and the quality on it is unbelievable. I don't even know what you would use to get through this thing, but it's worth every penny.

What a bummer!The chain itself seems good. In fact, I was initially really impressed and happy. That is, I was happy until I got to the store and tried to add this chain to better secure my bike. That's when I realized that the chain's "weakest link" is that the inner diameter of the chain links are too small to use with either of my current D-locks. Not only would I have the expense of another padlock but it would complicate things further. And add time (for research) and expense. And require yet another key. If you're like me and hoping this will fit right into your existing security ecosystem, be forewarned.For now, the chain is tucked into the included canvas bag and sitting in my garage. I think what I'll eventually use it for is to combine it with the OKG security anchor I have yet to install. And I'll buy a disc lock.
