## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I prepare the gel from this powder?**
A: One teaspoon (5g) of powder makes around 2 cups (17 fl oz) of slippery nuru massage gel. Mix with warm water, stir gently, and let stand 5 to 10 minutes until it thickens. Only mix what you need per session and dispose of any leftover.

**Q: Is sodium polyacrylate safe? I've heard it's not natural.**
A: Yes — sodium polyacrylate is approved as a food additive in Japan, one of the world's strictest safety markets. It's non-toxic, non-irritating, and the ingredient that delivers the thick, slippery nuru feel. Natural alternatives can't match it.

**Q: What if some accidentally gets in my mouth during a massage?**
A: All ingredients are food-safe and approved for cosmetic use in Japan, so any incidental contact during a session is harmless. The powders aren't intended to be eaten. If a small amount is swallowed, just rinse with water.

**Q: Will it stain my sheets, mattress, or skin?**
A: The gel is water-based and rinses off with warm water from skin, hair, and most fabrics, leaving no stain. For peace of mind, pair with a waterproof fitted sheet or our inflatable massage sheet underneath.

**Q: Which powder size should I choose — 40g, 50g, 100g, 200g, or 500g?**
A: 40g (Matsuri) is the trial size for first-timers or solo use. 50g suits standard couples sessions. 100g (Ori) is mid-volume for regular users. 200g (Konno) is for frequent users. 500g is the bulk professional pack.
