This water fountain and company definitely deserve this 5 star rating!!First I’m going to talk about the customer service since that is something that is definitely lacking with most companies lately. This company went above and beyond in my opinion! After I received this fountain, I got a message from the company asking if I had any questions and actually OFFERED to send me an extra pump as a back up. No strings attached!! That’s pretty unusual these days! ESP since that’s why we’ve had to replace fountains we’ve liked in the past…. The pump dies and I just try a different brand. So a week later I received the extra pump with no hassle or problems and they even checked in to make sure I received it. I can barely get a response from most companies these days if I have any sort of problem let alone have a company take the initiative to head off any future problems and send an extra pump free of charge! That definitely earned points in my book.Now for the fountain…which I really love as well. We have several kitties and have gone through MANY water fountain’s over the years. This one is by far the best one!! It’s super easy to clean which is a huge factor for me since I clean it at least every week. If you don’t already know, ALL water fountains will develop a pinkish film/slime if the water sits too long and it gets on everything that the water touches. This is why taking apart any fountain and pump to clean regularly is important. If you don’t get every bit of that slime/film out when you clean, the slime comes back even quicker. So easy to clean is critical for me. Other fountains we’ve gotten have had the sink type nozzle that the water comes out of to mimic our sink spout. While it’s a great feature that a lot of cats love, you HAVE to clean inside that nozzle. Yucky stuff will build up inside of it that just running water through or a quick run through with a skinny bristle brush does NOT remove it!This fountain has 2 flexible plastic spouts which you can easily clean and see inside of. They give you 2 options. Ones creates a bubbler type of fountain and the other creates like a drinking fountain kind of spout. My cats love both. The pump parts are super easy to clean and take apart and put back together. The pump even allows for water flow adjustments inside and that’s not a common feature. The only thing that is difficult to get out is the spinning piece inside the pump and every fountain has the exact same piece. (Just like an aquarium pump). I use a butter knife to get it out since fingers can’t grasp it.They give you 2 filters for the pump (but I dont use them). I feel like the filter materials that come with any fountain just gather slime quicker, and we have a water filter attached to our sink so the water is already filtered….but that’s just my opinion with them. These filters do seem a much better quality than other ones we’ve gotten with other fountains. The pump is SUPER quiet. I did a video. It’s way more quiet than any of the others we’ve had in the past. I haven’t found any cons with this one so far and Ive had it for months already. The stainless steel feels sturdy and not flimsy at all but it’s still feels light, which is awesome. It also has a light inside the bowl and a window to monitor water level which I didn’t think was that big of a deal but I do find it super convenient now not having to lift the top to check water levels all the time. Between the awesome quality of the fountain and all the features I like, and the amazing customer service I’ve gotten… I will definitely stick with this company and fountain in the future!

This item turned out to be better than I thought it would. First, it is stainless steel. Very easy to keep clean. Second, it is so easy to actually clean this waterer. You simply remove the top, open up the filter, container, and change the filter, scrub everything down, and put it back together.I bought this to replace a waterer that kept breaking. I was so frustrated with the old one and I wanted a brand new type. I’m so happy I went with this one! For comparison, my old one had a weird plug-in. And I have to plug it in behind a dresser. It was a big hassle, which kept me from cleaning it as often as I should have. This water has a simple and easy disconnect. You just simply pull it apart. And it’s up by the actual bowl and not by the part that plugs into the wall. So you just disconnect it bring it to your sink wash it out put it back together and plug it back in. So simple and easy.So if you’re thinking about purchasing and are not completely sure yet. Let me ease your mind. This company is very attentive to what the customer needs. I sent them a message and they replied less than a few hours. Then they actually followed up and asked if I was enjoying the product. In my opinion, this is a great company to do business with. And I just wanted people to know that. I spent a lot of time researching the different types of waters and where to actually purchase one from. I could not be more happy with my purchase from this company.

April 11 update: I changed my review from one star to five stars because I figured out the problem with the weak pump. Many reviews have said it stopped working after the first cleaning. This happened for me after the fourth cleaning. Then a few hours later as I was doing dishes, I found a critical piece in my sink drainer - it's a clear, translucent plastic piece that fits over the pump assembly. It is very easy to forget to put it back on, and it's very easy to lose in the sink. Once I replaced that part, the pump has worked perfectly.PREVIOUS ONE-STAR REVIEW: Like so many other reviewers have stated said, the pump worked fine for two weeks. Then today, after a cleaning, the pump's output is suddenly too weak to push it up the column and out to the surface. I'm going back to the model I had previously which had its faults and broke after a year, but the pump was reliable. I am not going to bother emailing the company even though other reviewers say customer service is very good, because there are so many reviews saying the same thing - the pump stops working shortly after purchase. Luckily in my case, it's within the return window.

I switched to this water fountain from another brand because I wanted something less complicated to clean. This fountain is a great setup and about a million times easier to clean. There are no nooks and crannies for gunk to build up, unlike other brands.It was absolutely silent for about the first hour that it ran, but now it has a little rattle like something is vibrating against the metal. If I lift the motor up off the bottom of the dish then the rattling stops so it’s either how the motor seats in the dish or it’s the motor. So that’s annoying.Cat loves the fountain though! He adapted in no time and the option to have it be a bubbler instead of a full fountain is nice.
