I never had a strainer that rice didn’t fall through before and there difference between well rinsed rice and not rinsed is amazing. Do yourself a favor and get this!

This is a handy colander to bust out when you need to drain something fine, such as rice. I like to rinse my rice multiple times before cooking, and this device finally makes that easier. The bowl is the perfect size to rinse and agitate rice and it never wastes any. This would be great for lentils as well. But other than that, it's not perhaps the most versatile kitchen gadget. I do wish it had more of the holes present as well. It's mostly just a bowl you can tip the water out of, which makes it slightly less efficient.
