Everlywell At-Home HbA1c Lab Test for Women and Men, Measures Hemoglobin A1c for Accurate Results from CLIA-Certified Labs Within Days, for Ages 18 Plus

Despite this first time purchasing from Amazon, I was easily able to register test. Received lab results in 3 business days of lab's receiving it. I originally joined Everlywell (purchased directly from their site) o/a Oct 2021 because I was gaining weight for no apparent reason. Our insurance had changed and I had no doctor yet so tried Everlywell to hurry things up and test without going anywhere. Turned-out I was prediabetic (insulin-resistant) due to a vitamin D deficiency which was also causing a drop in my estrogen level and my thyroid to malfunction. Figured it out on my own with Everlywell and internet research. Fixed it on my own too. Just needed to eat like a type 2 diabetic for a few weeks and take a D3 + K2 supplement to get my D to an adequate level. Everlywell has been great! It was difficult pricking my own finger the first 2 or 3 tests. Had to work up the courage, but it's a cake-walk now.

Would have given zero if I could..... pro-Fast, at home test. Fun getting the results. That's the good part. CON-The bad part is that they started having people call you and send you letters about your results. Personally, I DO NOT want anyone contacting me about my results, and they do not have an option to NOT have someone contact you. If I want to speak with somene about the results, I'll take the results to my doctor and speak with them about it. But it was a bit unnerving being at work and have someone calling me about results that I was neither expecting or prepared for. For that alone, I give it a 1 star, would give zero if possible.

It good to have,but had to dispose it. Thought it was for a home test. But Great customer service on getting credit

Easy testing

I’m glad I ordered this test! It was very easy to use and the process was simple and quick. I received my results and trust that they are accurate.

There was only one thing I did not like about this kit. Drawing blood. Everything else seemed good and worthwhile but it just did not work for me. Using that lancet hurt like hell and the kit said that four good drops of blood should cover the test. I used four drops and it did apparently was not enough. It was sloppy work for me as I was getting blood all over despite pricking two fingers. I like that it is a good idea for sending off results but I will stick to the old fashion way and have bloodwork done.

If there was 0 Stars I would have selected that.... please don't rely on this test as accurate (It's not even in the Ballpark). My test was completely wrong & inaccurate. For some this could have resulted in a Dangerous Situation. I had 3 tests done between Oct and Dec. Two where done at the lab with my doctor (Nov, Dec) and one with this home test (Nov). the home test Read me as 'normal - 5.2' where my tests were the doctor both read as Diabetic (5.9 & 6.2). This can be dangerous for anyone who is solely relying on this test. Was this even tested before release to the general public?

As someone who manages an insane schedule, I needed an easy way to check for diabetes. (I had gestational diabetes and wondered if my recent symptoms were a red flag…) The kit couldn’t have been easier and although the finger prick left a bruise, it honestly wasn’t painful at all. Just follow the directions and you’ll be fine. Note: It did take several days to process once it arrived at the facility, but overall, not a huge deal since the time saved was worth the wait.
