ALTRAMen's Escalante 4 Road Running Shoe

If you liked the previous models, you’ll probably like this one too. Hopefully it has a more sturdy insole than the 3, but it’s too soon to tell.

I am pleased with these shoes. I have had 6 or 7 pairs of Altras over last 8yrs or so. Often production quality has a lot of variation in sizing of same shoe, I once had a 12.5 that was larger than 13 of same shoe! Sometimes needed a 14 when I never wear bigger than 13, etc. These seem well made, are comfortable and just the right amount of firm cushion for a minimalist shoe used for fast walking on hard surfaces. I like the quiet color scheme as well.

Fleet Feet has a size 14 escalante and I can’t thank you enough. Great shoe, great service, shoes were brand new, well packaged and delivery was on time.

After shipping problems and almost 3 weeks waiting for these $138 shoes they’re too small I own the same company shoes a hiking version in the exact same size I’ve had for years and they fit perfectly feel like they’re two sizes smaller these are made Vietnam. The other ones are made in China. Go figure Sizing is totally wrong on these shoes. They need to make an extra wide.

I work 12 hour nursing shifts. These are the best work shoes I’ve ever tried. I do replace the soles with sof sole arch support because of the long hours on my feet. Great quality, breathable, comfortable and supportive when paired with better quality insole
