Outslayer Professional Heavy Duty Swivel for Speed Bag Platform Speed Ball Hanger

I was very impressed with this product from the timeI got the package. The box it came in was solid and well done and heavier then expected. After opening the box and removing the Swivel , again I was was impressed, very well organized and packaged, The Swivel felt good in my hands, a solid build, smooth and refined. All of the parts moved easily and quietly. I could hardly wait to use it !!! Install was simple and even the screws were quality stainless. It works like a Champ !!! I am seldom impressed, but this is a work of Art.

I've used an Everlast swivel ball for my speedbags for 45+ years. The problem with the vintage Everlast is that there is room in the socket for the ball to bounce up and down. That extra upward "bounce" makes smaller bags harder to control and adds a lot of noise to the workout process. You can see the space between the ball and the top of the old Everlast swivel in the photo on the right.. Enter the Outslayer all stainless swivel with real sealed bearings, a properly wide and smooth "U" shaped bag hook that is simple to remove and replace and slides easily into any bag loop. The Outslayer swivel is a LOT faster than my old Everlast, easier to hit, more stable and a LOT quieter. I kept the Everlast swivel for as long as I did because it helped me attain my black belt in college. Now the Everlast is a "wall hanger" - a fond reminder of days gone bye and with such a great replacement in the Outslayer, I'll never go back. (Being older requires even more dedication and work to stay in shape!) The only small "con" I have is that the Outslayer swivel came with 4 gold drywall screws for mounting the swivel to the wooden drum. I'm not using drywall screws on this awesome new stainless swivel so I replaced the drywall screws with 4 stainless steel hex screws. I doubt the drywall screws would shear, they just look really crummy. You can see the quality difference between the new Outslayer swivel and the antique Everlast swivel in the photo on the left. The Outslayer mounting holes even matched up perfectly with my old Everlast. Other than that tiny 0.1 point deduction for the drywall screws, this swivel is the best I've used - it looks like industrial art and performs perfectly. Highly recommended - Hope this helps!

I use a speed bag as part of my boxing workout along with a heavy bag and a double-end bag. I’ve been using the stock Everlast plastic swivel ball for years and finally decided to upgrade. After installing and using the Outslayer, I’m regretting not upgrading sooner. The difference is night and day. This swivel is made from high quality materials and is heavy and durable. It allows for maximum control of the bag and enables speeds and combos not possible with a lower quality swivel. It took 3 minutes to install it and came with a free Outslayer sticker! This Outslayer swivel is the most robust, durable model I've seen. I love that it has bearings on both the rotation AND the swing while most others are metal against metal on the swing. I'm in a humid coastal area, so being made of stainless steel is another big plus knowing it's going to have a long life without having to worry about rust. I highly recommend this swivel for anyone who's serious or a professional that only wants to buy something once.

I just finished building my speed bag platform and I installed the Outslayer swivel. It’s well made with high quality materials, and it comes with everything needed for installation. Attachment of the speed bag was as simple as removing the pin and replacing it. This swivel uses ball bearings and it’s super quiet and fast. I definitely recommend!

There is no doubt this is heavy duty and quality parts. Maybe it's just the one I received, but there is a tad bit of play where the bolt and bearing are mounted in the head of the unit. This makes it VERY loud in speed use, as it makes a constant clack with every hit and bounce back from that slight tolerance in the bolt and bearing. My cheaper swivels were never this loud, nor had this amount of play until they wore out. It is a much more solid build, I just hope it lasts with this slight play in the swivel.

Best Swivel for your money! I spent a month researching different swivels and this is the one to buy! I searched sporting good stores and professional boxing equipment suppliers and amazon. I read all the reviews for all the swivels so save yourself all that time! I was replacing an older Everlast steelball and socket set up. Now they come plastic! Before installing i used very high quality mil-spec gunoil (MP-7 pro) on all the bearings and moving parts. When i removed the Everlast swivel, this swivels mounting holes matched up perfectly! That was nice! I grabbed the speedbag and gave it a circular spin, It literally spun for 20 seconds before stopping (i timed it!). Then i started striking it! OMG, I'm not kidding, my Striking game Instanly inproved! It's very fast! It really is a functional work of art! Every piece is super high quality! The second you touch it you can tell! Wow This is made pretty solid. Every part is big: loop, bearings, base, center bolt. There's no way this swivel is gonna break any soon Comes with screws but I used my own screws.. It is pretty smooth too. Get yourself this one, you will not be disappointed !

Love this swivel!! Smooth and durable with a good size loop that’s not to big so the bag speed is good.

the top 360 swivel is loose so i put pipe tefflon pipe tapa to tight the gap not as much nosie when bag is moving
