They include: ladie's jacket, long vest, 2 sweaters, 2 ponchos, cape, bolero & top. For men: sweater & vest. For children: jacket, poncho, hooded coat, sweater & baby's romper. Also included are several pillows, blankets, bags & scarves. It's a nice variety of patterns to start with. Good luck. **Q: I read the reviews and lots of them are reviewing the machine and not the book. I read that patterns not appealing. Is there more available pictures?** A: The patterns are very old fashioned and use eyelash yarn **Q: Will this one do adult hats??** A: Yes, it will make adult hats (I use 140 rows for a double-layer hat; 70 for a single-layer). I just recently discovered that it will also make children's hats! I knit 70 rows total (35 rows in each of two colors), cinched one end, pulled it through the other, cinched that, folded the brim and put a pom pom at the top. I made two of them yesterday, as an experiment, and it was wonderful. The machine IS fiddly about what yarn it likes - so far I found that Lion Brand Wool-Ease and James C. Brett's Chunky Marble work very well, so Worsted or DK, is my guess. The thinner yarns make a very airy fabric, so if that's what you're going for, you'll like the fingering yarn, though it will not make a very warm hat. You should watch the knitting so that a stitch isn't dropped, but you can still turn the crank at a pretty steady pace; however, I personally would not recommend motorizing the machine. If I can figure out how to attach them, I'll post photos of the hats I've made so far - I think I've made nine of them. I'm on Ravelry (VikkiRay), if you want to see them. I have not yet made a flat panel - that's next on my to-do list. **Q: Do you have to know how to knit in order to make items?** A: I you do not need to know how to knit.
