Die Hard Trilogy

I love die hard movies and it’s not a requirement to enjoy the games. It just means you might get more out of the experience. It’s got action and humor. And arcade style fun. I think the controls get a little hard to get used to which could potentially discourage someone from enjoying the game. PS1 didn’t have the thumb joystick to maneuver so using the Dpad probably took away from some fun. Overall it’s a solid pickup for your PS1 library

I dont know how anyone can complain about this game, its AWESOME. 2 Great games and 1 novlety games.I don't see how anyone can describe the first 2 games as poorly made, unless they mean the fact that game does kill if you suck at it, and its one of those odler games that doesn't hold your hand and actually expects you to learn how to play.Die hard 1 is a 3rd person shooter where you run around killing terrorists. The ai in this game is in fact better than most modern games, the terrorists are decent shots, reasonably intelligent, and will gang attack you if they can. If your expecting near sighted idiots who can't aim (ala MGS) your going to be in for a rude awakening. If you expecting a game where you can let bullets like crazy without any stratergy, your going to be in for a rude awakening. If your expecting a fast, fun tactical 3rd person shooter and can handle some difficultly, your going to think this is dam awesome.Die Hard 2 is pretty much a time crisis rip off. Excep the AI is again BETTER than Time crisis, the game is more demanding reflex wise and actually requires you to understand how to play it and memorise the levels. If you think Time Crisis is too difficult, do not buy this game. If you like Time Crisis but want something longer, deeper, with better enemies and more fun guns, this game was worth buying the entire trilogy when it was $60. Right now GET IT.Die Hard 3 is... eh. Its just hot potato chasing bombs. A fun novelty but it does get old. They can't all be winners.Overall this collection is superb and either die hard 1 or 2 would be worth a lot, lot more than you would pay for it. However the games are NOT easy, and actually require thought and learning the levels.

I just died a little, just buy this for the Sega Saturn at least that version of die hard is closer to the original arcade version

One of the best ps1 games to be base on the biggest action movies of all time. 4 thumbs up!
