Salicylic acid is the only thing that has ever worked, but it dries my hair out so much that I don’t use it often. This shampoo is fantastic. It has a nice scent, but I don’t notice it lingering on my hair afterwards. It has helped my dandruff, but it’s not completely gone. I don’t know that anything will ever control it completely. I have been using this exclusively for about a week, so I’m hoping that over time, I’ll keep seeing better results. I am most impressed with how it makes my hair feel though. I was not expecting this from a dandruff shampoo. My hair felt so soft afterwards that I went without using conditioner in the shower for the first time in years. My hair still looked great and didn’t tangle. I did use a leave in conditioner, as I always do, since my hair is wavy. I can even go for longer without washing my hair, as it doesn’t get greasy looking like it used to. I ended up ordering two more bottles, so I don’t run out.
