This worked great on our dark cabinets!
This marker had great coverage! Hiding scratches in our 2018 travel trailer. Dries quickly.

Works fairly well.
This worked fairly well. I had weird light colored spots on my hardwood floors. This made them blend in better on most of the areas.

Works super, but be careful
I used this product in the dark walnut espresso color to finish off a Old English redo of a really scuffed up very old all wood dresser. The OE was best for 90% of the job but the Varathane product was essential to finish up with deeper scratches, scrapes, thin paint streaks (probably from moving the dresser in a car), small divots and especially chips in the veneer as those wouldn't take up the OE well at all. The result is just stunning considering the minimum effort & cost involved. It makes the idea of a full refinish not desirable or worthwhile. The label indicates Varathane has matching products for a full refinish that this product complements so if I do a complete redo on something I will probably look to Varathane for the whole job. I used a slightly darker color on the dresser than its basic finish which works perfectly as any dings would naturally look darker not lighter. I made the mistake of trying the pen on the top surface but it dries so fast you can't smooth it out and it shows so use it and love it for touch ups of what you couldn't get, or for a repair. Great product.

Did Not Match General Finishes
This pen did not match my General Finishes Colonial Maple gel stain. Perhaps it would match Varathane brand— but for me it was much too pink. It’s also seems more like a paint pen; it is very opaque.

Horrible color match
The packaging looks like it should match my floor, but the marker is not the same color at all. I did a tiny test spot in the chip on my floor and the color looks black. I can’t fill in the rest. Useless product and waste of money.

Great little stain pen.
We have terrible laminate wood flooring that buckles and chips if you look at it funny. The stain pen helps camouflage the chipped area until we’re able to replace the flooring itself. Also helps with some scratched areas as well as scratches on some of our darker furniture. Just a handy thing to have around.
