First in Class Carry-on Size Suitcase
I needed a light, durable, hard-shell case for a two week vacation trip to Japan and for many future trips (it replaced an old, heavy, soft side two wheeler). I did lots of shopping, really love this suitcase; it does everything better - 100% happy. Traveling with a suitcase has never been easier. Sturdy rollers glide along walkways, across rough sidewalks, roads and carpeting too. It looks good - easy to spot in baggage claim. It has super capacity and its expansion zipper came in handy when it was overloaded with gifts. The mid case opening zipper, inside zip divider and pocket make it easy to get at the contents you want without having to empty it. Finally, it is durable, well-made and easy to handle. I gave it to airline checked baggage, pushed it across large, busy airports, train stations and long distances to hotels on sidewalks, across roads, loaded it on overhead train compartments and taxis. After visiting 7 places in two weeks, it still looks new. I'm looking forward to many years of great service.

Big wheels keep on rolling...
After weeks of research, scouring Wirecutter, Travel & Leisure and more, I narrowed my choices down to three travel size suitcases. My criteria were high quality wheels, lightweight yet durable, ample space but suitable to carry on for air or train travel. My choices ranged in price from this bag to over $600.00. It arrived and I easily packed for a six day trip, and without needing to use the expansion feature. This bag holds a good bit more than the one it replaced. It rolled easily, no matter the surface, looks great, and doesn't have a mark on it after a very busy itinerary! Wide color selection. Excellent value, glad I didn't choose the others.

Light weight, meets TSA carry on requirements and has great rolling wheels
Just packed in this new carryon. Was able to pack for a five day stay in DC using just this one suitcase. Wheels are nice, lightweight but feels sturdy.

Super Easy to Wheel Around
I used this suitcase as carryon luggage on my last trip. I was able to fit everything I needed to attend a 5-day conference for work, including an extra pair of shoes and my laptop, with the extender unzipped. This suitcase is on the smaller side though, so it would not be a good fit if you need much more than I did for this trip. The size was generally suitable for the overhead bins on most airlines, however it was a little large for the smaller overhead compartments offered on some flights when you consider the wheels (on one leg of my trip I had to lay it flat and put it in the bin sideways for it to fit overhead without checking it - luckily, there was room on the flight to do so because the bin would not close with the wheels sticking out). The best feature of this bag is how easily it wheels around. It moves so easily.I have not checked this bag yet, but it seems that may be rough on it considering it already has nicks and scratches from just being a carryon.Overall, I would recommend this bag.UPDATE:I have now used this bag on multiple trips as a carryon and as a checked bag, and it is holding up really well! I have the next size larger as well for trips where I need to pack more. Both bags handle great and have held up well so far being checked and handled roughly.

Compliant with Suncountry carry-on size
the dimension stated here are not accurate it. It’s actually 23 inches tall, not 21 inches. It rolls along nicely on smooth surfaces, and I can fit a lot of things in there. I like the expander. So far, it is the largest spinner suitcase I could find in compliance with Sun-country maximum carry-on size, even with the expander out. The telescoping handle feels firm and works better than any other spinner suitcase I tried. My only complaint is that the lining is smaller than the actual shell on the side with the telescoping handle. I actually unzipped it to put my flip-flops between the lining and the plastic part. Also, the zipper pulls are sewn in facing the plastic part. I suppose so that you don’t snag your clothing. I was able to pack a straw sun hat with pretty wide brim into the suitcase. I just filled the crown part of the hat with rolled clothing and placed it face down inside the suitcase, then put the rest of my rolled clothing on top of the brim. I like how there’s a divider between the two sides making it really easy to pack and ZIP closed. It made it through two round trips so far. Something about the carpeting in the MCO airport makes it harder to drag along though. Otherwise it’s pretty much the best spinner suitcase for flying Suncountry.

Locked shut No key or code to open
worthless. No key. Locked shut. Had to return. Waste of time and energy AND didn't have a bag for travel.

A very classy piece of luggage
The luggage is a good size for carry on, has good quality organizational design and execution, and looks very good. I like its programmable lock, TSA compliant. The wheel system appears tough, and they work just fine. I am very pleased with it.

Good, even when things go bad.
I have been doing an EXTREME amount of traveling, lately. My old bag’s handle broke off, so I nabbed this, based on the high ratings. First time I used it, it got stuck in the luggage-delivery system at the airport. It clogged up the conveyor to the carousel and caused a problem. The bag no longer looked brand-new (scuffed and rubbed and abused), but my stuff was unhurt inside AND the 350° wheels were still beautifully, smoothly-working. Yeah, I wish it was still new-looking, but it’s so great a bag that I’m happy. Thanks, Samsonite.
