PARACITY Glass Teapot Stovetop 18.6 OZ, Borosilicate Clear Tea Kettle
I purchased this teapot in March 2025. It is now well over a year old...and I use it every week. Obviously no cracks nor broken into a thousand pieces due to heat point. I went back and read many of the discouraging remarks and decided to write another review recommending this product. This is the perfect pot for my specialty teas, teabags, fresh ginger slices, etc. It goes right onto my electric stove top without a hitch. I like borosilicate; clear, and it is beautifully thin. Remember, things must be treated with respect and one must remember not to put any kind of glass immediately onto very high heat. Common sense. Like pouring boiling water into a regular glass...it will crack; break. As to the sticking the only way this would happen is if the range element is not clean or, there is gunk on the bottom of the teapot. Crazy, but I get joy out of watching the bubbles some times. Obviously this size is not for a crowd; 2-cups. If I need to serve more I have my navy Chantal pot. The borosilicate is light, easy to clean and looks great! I couldn't believe what I got for the money. I am still impressed. I will caution you...the lid does not sit on the teapot alone..without the mesh tea holder sieve. This is a 'just to know' because it creates no problem for me. I am sure though the base of this teapot may not sit correctly on a gas stove. Always check your measurements. I love my teapot and recommend it highly! If the sieve created a problem for me, I'd buy a different model. The quality, size and Price is perfect for me. I have gifted friends with this product. One of my better buys. Definitely Recommend.

Works exceptionally well and is visible.
These PARACITY Glass Teapot Stovetop tea kettles are3 Very Good. Bought one smaller one and one larger one before. After 3 years the smaller one had a crack in it and leaked. One has to be a bit more careful putting them on a smooth rock holder. The next small glass te kettle was put into a larger box with 3 other small items, rattled around and arrived totally broken. Did order again, ctually they sent a new one before i was able o send the broken kettle back and it arrived well packed in its own box. I have =unscrewed the little round holder, turned the lid upside down, then rescrewed the little round holder onto the lid. If one doesn't do this, after the metal on the lid is heated by the hot water one has to wait for quite a while to take the lid off until it cools down. This way works better for me.

Perfect little tea pot!
This is super adorable! Itโs a lot smaller than I had intended but it still works amazing. The filter inside is so useful with having such small mesh so when I make my teas I donโt have to worry about restraining it to get buds out. Itโs very easy to clean and pours well. Iโm very happy with this.

Absolutely Works and Looks Nice
Materials all seem to be great quality. I've had it for a few months now, no damage, cracking, corrosion, or separation of the metal parts. The metal insert does seem to be a little looser now than when I started--in terms of the little tabs that help it sort of stay in the opening in the class and not lift up and out easily. I kind of wish it were bigger? But that's on me--it definitely holds the volume specified--I has been looking for a low-cost pot and this was it. (So good value for money.) It makes either two small cups of tea or one large one. (OR one medium cup and some leftover to top-up with.) The handle itself doesn't get hot, though, you have to watch how you grip it to pour it-- your hand can touch the hot glass of the main body if your grip slips. You've got to be careful that you don't fill it up to the top of the liquid will spill around the edges of the spout (though this is something pretty common I feel I've encountered. Do beware also, there is no easy or effective way to halt the steeping by removal of the leaves or basket. The lid only seats *in* the basket. So once you remove the basket you cannot keep a lid on the pot. Removing the basket while hot is difficult also because it itself gets very hot (obvious haha), and unless you have a saucer or something, there is nowhere to put it.

Durable and perfect size for 1-2 ppl.
I'm really enjoying this for my newfound interest in loose leaf tea. It looks and feels pretty delicate, but is oddly durable. I really like it and am using it quite a bit. I also had a friend notice it at my house and say that it was a cute, little teapot.

It's pretty.
It's cute and it holds a lot of tea. I have an electric stove, so I haven't used it on the stove. It's probably safe for gas stoves, but electric is higher temp and less uniform. Still, I use it for boiling water and I can microwave water to a boil in it. It's handy. It also fits in the dishwasher, and the opening is wide enough that it washes well. I also suspect that if I was to drop it, it might break. It's not super thick, but many things will break if I drop them, so that's not a criticism so much as an FYI. The only thing I don't like is the tea container can be hard to dump the tea out of, but that's a minor inconvenience. I like the look and the convenience and the size of this product, so the pros outweigh the cons. I'm very happy with this purchase. 5 stars. I'd buy it again if I lost this one.

OK but not great
Disappointed. The lid only fits the strainer but not the teapot. The photo on the item looks like a full lid but it isn't. Basically, there's no lid for the actual teapot. It's also very thin glass. It seems to be heat resistant to boiling water. It was dishwasher safe. But, I don't think it will hold up very well. The 18 ounces is pretty accurate. It's a small teapot for one serving. Overall, it's OK but not great for a $9.99 purchase.

It broke today
I loved this teapot but it broke today. I put it on the stove (heat on) for a few seconds as I was grabbing the water. Once I poured the water in it exploded. (It was room temperature water) not ice cold water. Itโs my fault, I shouldโve poured it in the pot before putting it on the stove though but it was still pretty scary :/

Disappointed
I don't work in oz's so I actually did not realise how small this teapot would be (But that's my problem not the manufacturers). If you do not remove the infuser and try and pour the tea, it spills everywhere. The Infuser may be made of stainless stell but I am not sure if the lid is. (Of course there may be grades of stainless steel so maybe the lid is a very poor quality stainless steel). The fact that one needs to remove the infuser to pour the tea, makes me wonder what "stove top" actually means. I wouldnot recommend this product to anyone.

Pleasantly surprised
Thought it would be a miss, but no, great stuff. Fun to watch especially if you do your chai latte slowly in it, perfect for that purpose. Sieve is long enough.
