Perfect for a joint replacement! GET IT
I bought this for my 2nd hip replacement in 1.5 yrs (other side). This set has everything you’ll need and didn’t know you’ll need for you joint replacement recovery.I went through my 1st hip replacement without it and it really made things a little easier for my 2nd.Detailed review1) ice pack: 9/10. You need to ice a lot during recovery and this reusable ice pack is perfect. Freezes pretty quickly, the size is perfect, the ability to strap it on with Velcro is helpful later. You don’t need to wrap this around your hip with the Velcro for the first couple of weeks because that requires more painful movement and the weight holds it in place. I’ve found that icing still process relief later in your recovery when you are more mobile and the ability to wrap this around and use when moving is really nice!2) the grabber 10/10. This is really nicely made and I’ve used it to pick up very fine things like a charging cord, bigger items like a cup, and open drawers. This came in especially handy when I was spending most of my time in bed after surgery because small movements can be very painful and I didn’t have to call someone into my room to hand me things that I couldn’t reach. This is my favorite item in this kit and I really wish I would have had it after my 1st surgery.3) leg lift strap 6/10. This is well made and a good length. I like that it has a metal piece in it to make it stiff and give it structure. This is the item that I’ve used the least though but that may be because I’m younger, pretty mobile and strong, and already know how to move my surgery side pretty well due to past experience. I could see this being very helpful for other people though.4) long shoe horn 10/10. The movement required to get your shoes on after a hip replacement can be difficult and painful for a whole after surgery and this shoe horn is so helpful and doesn’t require you to make that painful bend.5) sock tool 9/10. Putting your socks on after surgery is impossible for a while. After my first surgery I had to ask my son to help for a long time or go without socks when I was alone. This tool allows me to put in my own socks! The only downside is I think it could stretch out certain socks because it has a pretty large diameter.Final review 10/10 if you are having a going replacement do your self a favor and order this kit!!

Perfect for hip surgery recovery
I like the pack of the items it contains. Looks like there is a thought behind every item. I am loving the ice pack and the leg lifter I am using frequently to lift leg. Leg lifter is sturdy and rigid with structure (may be metal wires) that makes it easy to use. Grabber tool works with small items like keys, mobile phones, wallet, etc. Overall, I like this kit very much

Hip Replacement/life saver kit
I just had a hip replacement 3/7/25 and this kit was recommended to me by someone else I know who just had a hip replacement and bought this. The best 2 items hands down are the grabber and the strap. There is also a shoe horn and a thing to help you get your socks on . I have not used either of these two yet as I am not in that part of my recovery yet. There is also an ice pack which I find a little clumsy so I just use an ice pack that I already had. My one negative there are no directions. I had to look for videos.

Great product
This is a good kit. The pick up stick and the ice pack are the best. I feel this is a great kit and is worth price. I really helped me after my hip surgery.

Helpful for recovery.
The set really helped my mum to recover, this is a great choice of items she said. And you will need all.She specially likes the leg lifter because her legs are delicate. The strap has a solid structure that keeps it in shape so she can use it independently. The grabber tool is also helpful for picking small items.

Basic Tool Kit for After Hip Replacement.
Everything I needed for Post-Op. The sock puller-on is invaluable and the looped thing helps me get my leg up onto the bed. The picker-upper is great for when I drop my "real" picker-upper. You can't have too many ice packs. Tape the box near your bedside to use as a quiver. The shoe horn could help but tbh I bought cheap Skechers slip-on sneakers (https://amzn.to/3FcjIWO) so I wouldn't have to bend down to tie the laces.Good luck with your hip replacement!

Great product.
All of the items are sturdy. It was worth the money. The one from the hospital received from the hospital was not as good as this one.
