For reference, I have mature, extremely dry skin. I honestly haven't found much that can keep my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable as it is just that dry. So, my experience with this cream is that it does come in a sturdy travel friendly jar. It feels nice and cooling going on to the skin, and it does absorb nicely into my skin while not being greasy at all. It's not heavily scented, although there is some type of smell. I have smelled it over and over again and the best way I can describe it is a dusty plastic type smell. The smell does fade and does not linger, however initially there is a smell. The moisturizing effect just doesn't last for me, and I find myself reapplying the product multiple times throughout the day.
