I like the electrically controlled gauges more than the mechanically controlled types. Who wants an oil line running into the cab or operating area of a vehicle? This set avoids that. The temperature gauge is also converted to an electrical signal, avoiding the easily-kinked mechanical relaying device other sets use.The blue lights are a pleasant color. While they are positioned near the tops of the gauges, they still work well in the dark. Have fun getting everything wired; there will be plenty of wiring connections in the back. No wiring harness is included, just bare ends. All in all it's a decent set. This is so much easier to install than mechanically controlled gauges. I won't be going back to the mechanical type.Keep in mind that, like any gauge cluster, it may take a bit of effort to find a suitable location to install the sensors; each vehicle is different. Mine had a plug on the water pump that worked well. Great set. 5 stars for the set, almost 4 stars because the wiring can be a pain. I'm going to go with 5 just because it's a lovely set with a pleasant backlight color. A small wiring harness for just the lights could have easily been included, saving the installer some time. Good set though; recommended.

All of the gauges worked out of the gate. Unfortunately it seems that all of them read high.The worst offender is the temp gauge. It is accurate to around 140, after that it skyrockets to over 200-220 while the actual reading is closer to 150-170.The oil Pressure gauge it a bit bouncy for my taste, but it works, albeit about 10PSI high compared to my previous mechanical gauge.The voltage gauge reads about 1V higher then actual over 13V. Before that it is accurate.

Can you really trust a gauge cluster that costs thirty five bucks? For this one I'd say you can trust it enough. I don't think its quite spot-on with the oil pressure or temp but it gets me in the ballpark. This is for a racecar that my buddies and I are building and part of the contest rules is that you have a very low budget, like $500 low. So the fact that this thing is so cheap is exactly what I needed. All I need to know from this thing is if our car is going to blow up and I think it'll do that perfectly. The race is in December, maybe I'll update this with how it goes.

Readings are not accurate and one crew inside glass fell

Gives you all the needed gauges to check your engine health. These do what they are supposed to do at this price point. I am using them to connect to engines for first start ups to verify oil pressure and temp.I wouldn't use these on race engines, but for an old car to keep the vitals in check these work as intended.

I like that these are electronic gauges. The electronic oil sender is a very nice feature at this price point. The water gauge and ammeter round out the trinity of old school diagnostics for instant confirmation of general engine health. Put these within a glance of a tach and gain 10 hotrod points. The quality is nice for the price and the included hardware and connectors are average in quality. The back lit dials appear to be LED and are nice and bright. Recommended.
