Anthony's Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder, 1lb, Gluten Free, Non GMO, Unflavored, Plant-Based Protein

I ordered this as an alternative to animal-based whey-type protein powders. I've tried many types and so far, this has become one of my favorites. Here are my thoughts.KUDOS: It's about $15 for a pound of this organic pumpkin seed protein powder at the time of my writing this review (Dec 2024). The powder is well-packaged in a heavy, resealable bag. The powder mixes very easily in things like plant-based milk and yogurts, with little to no clumping. The taste has a toasted nutty flavor, just like pumpkin or sunflower seeds, which I think adds an earthy but very enjoyable flavor to just about anything I've added it to. There's no lingering aftertaste of additional ingredients as this product is simply the pumpkin seed and nothing else added, no salt, no vitamins, no preservatives and no sweeteners. It's also relatively low in iron (15% daily serving) and that's something I have to watch due to a condition I have so kudos here.CONS: This is entirely subjective but some won't like the color- the powder is a light avocado green and will tint what you add it to that color. I couldn't care less but some won't find the color appealing.OVERALL: This is a clean product that seems to deliver. I def plan to order again when my second bag is done and continue to use. It's a great tasting product and I'm very pleased with the taste and quality.

I love this pumpkin powder! It has a great mix-ability and is very smooth. I like mixing it into a peanut butter consistency or throwing it into smoothies for a protein boost. Great value for the money, perfectly clean ingredients, awesome buy!

A pleasant flavor that works well with all the smoothies I've added it to. It's finely powdered and dissolves quickly and fully. I don't know how much protein it adds but in every other way it's of the highest quality. Perfect if you're lactose-intollerant (like me) which rules out most other protein powders.

Very happy to find this product! A great source of protein that can be added to baked items, smoothies, soups, applesauce and many more recipes. The seeds are ground very fine so it's very easy to mix into foods. Vegan and salt-free. I previously spent a lot of time roasting and grinding pumpkin seeds. Now all the work is done for me. :)Good price as well. Definitely recommend and will buy again.

This is a great price for a quality product. I’m leaning more towards using this in all of my shakes and baking since it doesn’t contain any icky artificial sweeteners. Very high in protein and pumpkin seeds are used to fight off intestinal parasites.

Tastes good and mixes well. My only note is that 1 leveled TBSP is only 9g of weight, not 15g. So don't rely on a TBSP scoop and weigh it out if you want to be sure you get the full 9g of protein.

This taste really good to me. I add it to oatmeal with a little honey or make a coffee smoothie with it. Its gentle on my stomach which was super important to me. I have not been able to handle other protein powders of any kind without getting an upset stomach. I have wasted so much money on other proteins.I do notice a little gas if I use too much so I cut it back a little and it seems to be great.The price was reasonable for the size of the bag. Especially for have nothing added at all! Just pure pumpkin seed. I love that!I do not like stevia or any other natural sugars substitutes. I also do not like added flavor. I like to add my own flavors like honey or dark chocolate.Overall 5 stars from me!
