Great concept but poor quality of fabric
The product works great. But the quality is poor. Bought this in March and 4 months later I had to throw them away. They became sticky and left green or purple sticky residue where ever they laid. The color/residue is still on my potting bench where I laid them.I had rinsed them after multiple uses and set them on my potting bench to dry. The next day, they were stuck to it and the fingers were impossible to separate or even use. Not sure why washing them would cause that reaction. I did not see any warnings against that when I initially purchased them. The claws and design are excellent! But the rubber deteriorated too easily.

Mom loved them, immediately went home to garden and harass her pets.
Got them for my mom for Mother's Day. She was absolutely thrilled. They came in cute cloth gift bags that are great for storage. They had a bit of a funky smell but she said it airs out and doesn't matter once you're using them. The 'claws' are a heavy duty plastic and they're attached well and comfortable. She has small hands and mine are more medium and they fit us both fine because of the scrunchy material at the wrist, which should keep most dirt out. Absolutely worth $15.

I thought it would be a great way to help with getting out the weeds from their roots. It's useless. The "claws" are painful and end up digging into your fingers/nails. Too much pain for too little result.

NICE!
Love these things! The claw gloves are amazing! Soil can't be real hard but planting or working light soil without having to grab a trowel is really nice! Plus you can scare the grandkids!!

Garden claws!
The purple and the green pair are not made from the same material. The green pair is best. They work as described on ad. I would not have order the purple ones.

The joy doesn't last! :-(
I bought 4 sets at the beginning of the summer. I loved them, AT FIRST!) but as the summer grew, the gloves began to stick together when they were hot. Then my hands weren't as clean as when they were new. Then the 'stuff' (plastic coating) started to come off when they'd stuck together. But they also stick to wood, concrete, etc. (I used them in the greenhouse). Happy camper turned not so happy after wear. ;-(

What did I do before claw tip garden gloves?
These are a great deal! I find myself reaching for the claw tip gloves repeatedly. They're great for digging roots and rocks up, scraping moss off of bricks, opening bags of soil, and more. They fit a little loose on me, so they're best for a medium/large hand. My husband can wear them, but it's a snug fit. Definitely recommend, especially if you often misplace gloves and need extra sets.

These gloves cannot take the heat.
I've used a pair of these 4 times, washed off the dirt and hung out to dry. The rubber is melted and my fingers are poking out the ends after use. The size for my small hands are good, however durability is not. I won't recommend for a friend unless you want to lose them. Maybe it needs to be stored in a fridge? Comes in a cute bag, but I'll have to toss these soon. It worked while it lasted hence 2 stars.
