Hurley Women's Standard OAO Long Sleeve Retro Surf Suit

I had been looking for a long sleeve bathing suit for snorkeling so I didn't have to worry about reapplying sunblock and feel comfortable jumping in and out of the boat. While I probably wouldn't wear this for lounging at the beach or pool I did think it was perfect for ~active~ water activities. The fit was great, the zipper string worked well for taking it off and on, it dried pretty fast, and it paired nice with shorts. I'm 5'3/130lbs and purchased both the medium and large. The medium fit snug and was a little tight around the leg holes since, comfort was key with this purchase I ended up keeping the large.

This is a very well made suit and the colors are beautiful which is why I gave it 5 stars. Having said that, I had to return it because it was too small in the bum. The cut of the suit is designed with a minimal backside. This did not work for me, but would be cute on someone younger or slimmer? For reference, I am 5’7” 115 lbs. and ordered a size small. The fit was perfect everywhere except the minimalist bottom/backside.

The suit is a good proportion, it feels good and I really really wanted it to work out. It's very cute however, it is cut high in the back ....not only do my butt cheeks hang half out ( sorry to be so crass) but also as you move around the suit migrates into the middle of your cheeks. Not a good look for me.

This is super cute. Colors are just as pictured. However, they are pretty cheeky and high cut. It’s also a little difficult to get the zipper all the way up or down without some help. I have not worn this in the water yet, but the quality of the material is great.

Size runs small, but was comfortable and cute. However, zipper broke after second wear.

Order 2 or 3 of the same color and return the extras if you’re picky. Super fun patterns but the placement varies a lot. Bum coverage also varies a bit, but all were fairly skimpy to me. About half of your bum is covered. It’s not a thong by any means though and it does look great once you get used to it! I wore this in Iceland in March for the hot springs and got many compliments. The high neck and long sleeves help block the wind a smidge so you’re not totally freezing when you step out. I’m excited to wear in Hawaii later this year for sun protection! Fit is similar to juniors sizing, I’m a women’s size 4-6 32D I tried M, L and XL and the large was perfect.
