Best Smelling Vitamins
My almost ten year old Australian Cattle Dog started slowing down more and more and so we decided to try out more daily vitamins for him. Since I myself take SmartyPants vitamins for women, I was excited to see a brand that I knew made vitamins for our dog! These, I have to say, are by far the best smelling of any vitamin we have ever given him. He gets two a day, and over the past month of receiving them, he has shown an increase in energy again and limps with his arthritis a lot less! We will definitely be continuing on with these!

Expensive. But it smells like food, and has good ingredients. Does that justify the cost?
I wanted to like this product when I read the ingredient list. The few chemicals there-- glycerin, maltodextrin, tocopherols--are all organic (in the chemical sense) and not the least scary. And when I opened it, I was impressed. So many of these supplements claim to taste good, but then they stink like a chemical spill. This one smells like food, and since a dog's sniffer is much keener than mine, I'd like to be giving my guy something pleasant. I wanted it for the glucosamine and chondroitin, but the probiotics sounded good as well, I just didn't do the math correctly. My big 85lb guy needs two of these a day, if not three, according to the label. That comes to a minimum of $43 a month, almost what his Nutro diet costs, and many of the same ingredients are in there. I probably won't buy it again. Unless I can sell the novel and movie rights. Then, sure.

Excellent dog chew supplement
Smartypaws Dog Supplement gets my Newfie's attention as soon as I open the bag. He loves it so much he'll wake from a deep sleep. Seriously though I think it has helped his arthritis in his forearms. I've recommended it to a couple of friends in our service dog group and after trying it they have seen results too. It has a very peanut buttery smell and is well formed chew that's easy to administer. I think it's well worth a try for your dog.

My dog says they smell bad.
I see many reviews that say these smell good, but my dog won't touch them. My whole family agreed that they smell very strong. I believe they would help her, I just can't get her to eat them😕

Worth the buy.
My dog is 11 years old and has had problems with his hip since before I rescued him 10 years ago from an animal shelter. Over the last year or 2, it has gotten worse. I saw an add for these and figured what could the downside for trying these on him. After about 2 weeks I saw much improvement on the way he could get around. The only downside to this product was his gas was very awful.

This is great for dogs with Arthritis!
My German Short Hair (Maggie) is 8 years old and she developed a limp in her left rear leg. After taking Smarty Paws for about 3 days we notice that the problem has gone away. Maggie has been taking this product for 3 months now and she is like her old self running around again. Thanks

Not for my dogs
Neither of my dogs will try these treats on their own. I finally got my lab mix to eat it after mixing it in her food and within a couple of days her behavior was off. She was attempting to drink out of the toilet and restless at night, those are not typical behaviors for her. Only thing new in her routine was this vitamin. I immediately discontinued use and within a couple of days she was back to her old self. I will not be trying these again. It is disappointing that these cannot be returned for a refund.

My dog loves these!
My dog strongly approves of the taste. She does not have major mobility issues so I can’t report a dramatic change. I showed them to my vet and she noticed the glucosamine dose is lower than what she’d recommend for a large dog, but again mobility isn’t much of an issue for us so I am still using them. The treats do turn my dog’s poop orange, assuming that’s just a side effect of the turmeric.
