just wanted to say thank you for making such an incredible whelping box. As a professional dog trainer but a first-time breeder, I can’t express how much this product meant to us. We had a litter of 11 Rottweiler puppies, and unfortunately, we lost our little “Pink” puppy early on. Part of that experience made me realize just how important a quality whelping box truly is. After switching to your product, everything became so much easier and safer. The instructions were clear, assembly was simple, and the amount of space it provides is outstanding. The pig rails gave me much more confidence, and the entire design made caring for such a large litter manageable. On top of that, it’s incredibly easy to clean, which is a huge plus when raising puppies. This will be the only whelping box I’ll ever use. This whelping box is excellent! It's made of durable materials, is easily assembled by one person with no tools, is easy to clean, and comfortable for a GSD with a large litter. The pig rails have 2 height adjustments, but I just used the highest from the beginning. The pig rails are snug inside the box so they aren't easily pushed up. The box walls are high enough to provide privacy. The adjustable door height is easy for Mom when puppies are newborn, but easily adjusted as the puppies grow. I did not use the pad provided because it is much larger than the box dimensions. I used washable whelping pads. The collars stayed on well, but they are too stiff for tender newborn skin. I used them until my custom ordered collars arrived. Even without the pad and collars, the box itself is well worth the cost.

Pretty good kit for a starter. The collars are not very good and the Velcro hasn't lasted, The bottom board on the opening broke, but that was from using a little too much muscle when putting it together.

The neighbors moved and gave us their pitbull. She was pregnant and heartworm positive. I've never had a pitbull before or a litter of puppies. I set up the whelping box early in my dining room, giving her time to nest. She didn't even look at it until the day she went into labor. She had her first of 8 puppies on my brand new suede sofa. I quickly dragged the whelping box next to the sofa and she jumped in. Over the next four weeks, I was constantly cleaning the box with clorox wipes. The puppies outgrew it at about 4-5 weeks...or rather they learned how to climb out of it. I had two whelping boxes to help keep the puppies contained while cleaning the other one. The box was easy to assemble, clean, and slide around the floor to clean under it. Honestly, I wish it was a little heavier to help hold down the large washable puppy pads. Some people may think a whelping box is unnecessary and a waste of money when a kiddie pool would serve the same purpose. I disagree and it made this 56 year old woman's life a little more bearable with 9 new family members.

This whelping box is the best purchase. Amazon has a single whelping box only, but this one with the play area can be used for so many things prior to birthing and after birthing. It is light weight and so easy to clean too. I left the top post caps off in some areas so I can have easier access in pulling out the slate areas when needed. Be careful pulling slats out and putting them back in. You will have to gently move the posts together or farther apart to access pulling them out or putting them back in. If you are too rough and force slats, you will end up breaking them. 100% WONDERFUL PRODUCT FOR A WHELPING BOX.

This is very poorly constructed and uses the absolute cheapest materials. It may be inexpensive, but you sure get what ya pay for! In this case, I got crap!!!

Just the rights size, easy to assemble, easy to clean, and durable! Kept all our puppies safe.
