Starbucks Stainless Steel Tumbler 16fl oz with Grip

Ich habe schon einige Becher ausprobiert und der hier ist bislang der Beste. Er kostet zwar ein paar Euro mehr, aber die lohnen sich. Er ist absolut auslaufsicher (habe ihn schon in den Rucksack stecken müssen, weil ich keine Hand frei hatte). Der Kaffee hat bis zu einer Stunde lang eine angenehme Temperatur. Ich bevorzuge meinen Kaffee mit einem guten Schluck Milch, also könnte es gut sein, dass der Becher bei schwarzem Kaffee oder Tee die Wärme noch länger hält. Ich kann ihn nur empfehlen. War absolut kein Fehlkauf!

One might accuse me of being a caffeine addict, and one would not be wrong in the least. I've tried many a travel mug in my day, and all of them have resulted in liquid sloshing around (not good).This particular tumbler from Starbucks is one I have now had three times: once, I was given the tumbler second-hand by a friend at uni, and I then passed it on to someone else; then, I purchased one for myself, and my cousin absconded with it after deciding it was amazing. Now, my partner has purchased a third one for me, and you would need to pry it out of my cold, dead hands.The design is hardly revolutionary: a double-walled, seamless stainless steel body; a rubber grip around the indented belly; a rubber anti-skid base at the bottom; a black plastic lid with a (?silicone) inner gasket and flip-top. This particular tumbler is plain stainless steel. I have previously owned the green, which was gorgeous and, even when dented, indestructible; and the purple, which while equally lovely got scuffed/scratched at a rather alarming rate, revealing the plain silver steel beneath. I'm content with the understated plain stainless steel.When dropped form your standard 'arm out, coffee coming through' height onto the sidewalk, you may or may not end up with a small dent; the only area that seems prone to this is near the bottom rim, but I've only ever seen one of these get that dent once, and it had zero impact on functionality.The double-walled lining keeps your beverage piping hot (or nice and cool, if that's your jam) for a few hours, depending on your ambient temperature.But what I love this for is it. Doesn't. Spill. In uni, I used to keep this in my messenger bag--alongside my laptop (how's that for young bravado and confidence in the product?)--with nary a disaster. Just make sure you fill it to just below the lowest threading track (you'll see what I mean if you purchase this tumbler) on the inside; above that, you break the seal and are likely to see a little bit of splashing. Do be careful when you open the flip top the first time: if you've been in transit, the steam pressure build-up can cause a little bit of a pop. The narrower base means you might knock this over if you set it on an unstable surface (but if you're smart and keep your lid sealed between sips, you will avert disaster) but it does fit tidily into cup holders because of this.I'm sad to see that Starbucks only offers the 12 fl oz tumblers in the UK stores, and only in (rather boring) plain steel. That being said, I was very happy to see the larger 16oz model available on Amazon, and would highly recommend splurging on this dependable beverage workhorse.

Der Becher ist groß, sehr stabil und sieht optisch gut aus. Ich nehme ihn meistens für warme Getränke und er hält diese auch immer perfekt warm (Transportzeit bei mir etwa 1- maximal 2 Stunden) und der Kaffee ist dann immer noch heiß. Ich gebe den Becher sicherheitshalber immer in eine eigenes Fach in meiner Handtasche wo er aufrecht steht, aber bisher ist auch noch nie etwas ausgelaufen wenn er umgefallen ist oder man ihn schüttelt etc. Super Produkt.

Das ist ein tolles Teil. Ich hätte nicht damit gerechne, das das Teil so lange warm hält! Kann ich nur empfehlen!
