It is important that the baby is properly positioned in this float - leaning forward. Someone reviewed this product with baby lying back which is a NO! Just follow simple instructions, people. Sun shield is a fantastic add to this. Our 7 month old is perfectly happy floating around the pool.

It was light plastic material. Not bad for the price.

Build quality:Overall is a good quality float, higher quality than expected and is made a relatively thick material.Shade:I accidentally put the shade on backwards in the first picture so that it tapers (leans) toward the front in the picture instead of leaning to the rear. It is easy to put on and take off just by hooking a loop. The shade does get a bit in the way when putting the baby in and out of the float but does provide good sun protection.Suspension seatI've never seen this on a float before but the "seat" is formed by the uninflated plastic band that connects the main float to the smaller moon shaped float. This allows a lot of water contact and leg movement in water as well as a more horizontal "tummy time" like position to be maintained.Soft matte plastic / cool touchThe top and seat have a "soft" matte finish and doesn't "stick to skin" like some smooth plastic floats can making it very comfortable. In addition, the main (C-shaped) float has two compartments, a main chamber which is clear and the top chamber (see picture 4 for a view of both chambers.) The top chamber (soft matte green) makes contact with the baby/toddler can be under-inflated so that the baby has a softer "mattress" like feel. In addition, the matte finish also seems to stay cooler / transfer less heat to skin.Size:This works well with a 9-mo baby/toddler. I'm not sure about 30month but I can see 9-18 month begin a good age for the size of the float."Rattles"The main float has two small ball rattles that make rattle noise to help keep your baby/toddler stimulated.Final thoughts:This is a great float for water introduction. It is soft, comfortable and allows a lot of water contact. I highly recommend it.

Summer is around the corner, and I know I wanted to get something for my daughter in order for her to experience the swimming pool for the first time.Saw this and immediately knew it was something I want to try. Unboxed it and inflated it. Put my daughter in it to see how it would fit.It was easy to get her in the float and she fit perfectly. The weather has been pretty spotty, so we haven't been able to test it in a pool yet, but we are excited to try it out.Will update review once we test it in an actual pool.

Comes in handy good to have easy to inflate and deflate keeps baby comfy and safe

I got this for my 3mo old nephew, unsure if it would be supportive enough for him. If is actually made in a way that would support any child, there's no way for him to fall out or for his head to lose balance and fall in the water. Obviously, we aren't putting him on this float and sending him away, but it only takes a split second for bad things to happen in the water. I wanted to make sure I got something we all felt safe with and of all the floats I bought, this is the winning pick.

make sure it inflates properly as soon as it arrives. i purchased this back in april for my daughter's birthday. it's now june and we're finally able to use it. went to inflate it and the stopper doesn't stay in the hole to keep the air inside. the return window closed last month. i wish i checked it when i first got it.

This inflatable baby swimming float is made of strong good quality material. It comes with all you need to set it up including a pump. It works well except for the canopy which I would have preferred if it was a bit wider so it could cover more of the sun. Other than that, it's a safe and fun floater that your baby will have so much fun in it.
