Not enough scent for waterless diffuser
I love the smell of jasmine but sometimes it is cloying. I actually really like the fragrance of this oil. It is light and floral and smells like the flower rather than like a perfume. However, I just don't think it throws off enough scent for my whole home diffuser so I had to set it to spray often and for a long time With that being said, it is very affordable and I can afford to use more of it. The scent itself is very light and pleasant if you like Jasmine. Feels a bit like I just walked by a Jasmine bush. Very nice. So, probably not the best oil for a whole home waterless diffuser but at the price, its definitely worth the buy.

Nice, mild smell
I enjoy the smell of Bergamot and have used the essential oil in the past on my wool dryer balls to scent the laundry. As essential oils can be pricey, I decided to try this fragrance oil when the other ran out.I like that the oil comes with a dropper lid which screws on nicely as an alternative cap. However, do be careful as you are drawing the dropper out as it will release several drops in rapid succesison without pressing at all. If you hold it over the bottle for a few drops, it will slow. Also, the dropper only fills up about 1/3 of the way with each squeeze. As I am using this only to scent dryer balls, it is really not super important for me, and you can always use a different dropper if you need exact measurements. The smell is nice - it is mild compared to the Bergamot essentail oilI have used in the past and, while I can't promise that it smells identical to what I think of when I think of Bergamot, it is still a pleasant smell.

Does not smell like basil
Maybe a hint of dried basil. It’s not the scent I was hoping for, but it’s not unpleasant. I use it as an air freshener by spritzing it around. It could also work as a car freshener or for scenting dryer balls. I've even mixed it with unscented lotion. There are many uses for it, but I probably won’t repurchase this scent and might explore other options from this company.

"huge" indeed!
This review is for the HBNO Cardamom Fragrance Oil - Huge 4 oz (120ml) Value Size - Ideal for Soap & Candle Making, Perfumes, Home Fragrances, Reed Diffusers, Bath Bombs, Linen Sprays, Lotions, and Car FreshenersFirst, to note, this is a FRAGRANCED oil, not an essential oil. I have read some stuff that those are worse for breathing in...but well, I love the way this smells, and I love the quantity you get for the price of $14.99!I also appreciate the savings in this coming with a dropper and not having to buy my own (or try to match with some I purchased previously). They presented this in a way that pretty much completely prevents the dropper or the bottle from being broken. I notice these touches, as someone who has purchased many other oils over the years, and many of them not having this great fate. All told, I can strongly recommend this oil and this brand (as this is now i think my 2nd or 3rd oil from HBNO).

Smells good, but where is it manufactured again?
This pine needle fragrance oil definitely does smell good. I love the smell of pine - no need to enjoy only during the winter holidays! I subtracted one star because I wish it were more clear where the oil is manufactured. One of the images in the product listing states that it is manufactured in California, but the verbiage in the product description claims only that it is packaged or bottled in the USA (Northern California, to be more specific). The bottle itself states that it is bottled in California, but does not specify where the fragrance oil originates. Also note that the bottle clearly designates this as "pine needle fragrance oil" (that being the sole ingredient listed), and not essential oil extracted in any particular manner from any particular species of pine. I subtracted a star for the bottling / manufactured ambiguity, but I am ultimately OK with the ambiguity as well as the ingredient list. While I expect essential oils to be a bit more precise regarding origin and contents, this product is fragrance oil, and really I wouldn't think twice about burning a pine-scented candle without any knowledge about where the fragrance was manufactured or the exact ingredients of the fragrance component of the candle. So, in short, I am not sweating it because this product, while bottled like essential oil, is more akin to the fragrance in a scented candle than an essential oil, and with this product one can create one's own scented candles for much lower cost than buying scented candles with comparable scents. The scent is akin to that of the most high end of the holiday pine-scented candles that I have come across.
