When I started swimming again after a hip replacement I found that I was very nervous about slipping on all the wet surfaces. A fellow swimmer suggested some shoes like these and they have made all the difference, as well as being comfortable.

I made a hole in my old beach shoes so I wanted these to walk on the sand. I don't like the feeling of flip flops under my feet, and they caused me pain. I don't like walking barefoot all the time because UK beaches are surprisingly spiky sometimes. These are a good medium ground where I can walk on my feet comfortably with out affecting the arches, but also get some protection from underneath. They look quite nice in full black, and the only thing I didn't like is the fact that they stretch so much and provide very little support that even though I'm a size 9.5, the nine felt loose. This is unfortunate, because they would be fine with socks so I suspect they have measured the sizing with socks. But you don't wear socks with these kind of shoes.But they are very well made and they take up water but also dry off really quickly, and they flatten into nothing and would easily fit into any travel bag.

They're also quick drying so won't take long to dry especially in the sun.

just got these Sportvibe water shoes and they’re brill. super comfy, way better than slippers for travelling. love pattern and the grip’s ace on wet surfaces like boats, spas, or in the garden. they fit snugly, more like socks than shoes, but no issues with tightness. perfect for river walks or the beach, especially since they dry quickly. not the best on pebbly beaches though, as the thin soles let you feel every stone. great for sandy spots or even around the house. versatile and easy to pack for holidays. overall, well chuffed with these!

I ordered to try these Sportvibe water shoes as we had a trip to the beach planned and also a holiday later on this summer. While I am a size 6, these have fit me quite nicely and they are very lightweight. The downside is that the rubber soles are very thin (they are not called barefoot shoes for nothing) so I did not like them whilst visiting a pebbled beach as I could feel every sharp rock out there. They are better suited for sandy beaches, spa or swimming pools, boats etc or even in the house as slippers. Good to throw in your suitcase for holidays as they are so versatile and lightweight. Overall, I am happy with them and would recommend.

As a family, we often go river walking, so I’m frequently on the lookout for new water shoes that can be used for this purpose. We also visit the beach in the UK. So, when I came across these lightweight barefoot swim shoes, I was eager to try them out. They are really comfortable and fit well. I bought a size 5 shoe, which fits my size 5 feet perfectly. They are snug but not too tight.They are made of a flexible material on the uppers and have a nice textured sole on the bottom, which makes gripping on slippery rocks perfect for the beach or the river. I’m pleased with these shoes and would recommend them. They dry up fairly quickly in the sunshine and are very versatile in their use, whether you are doing water sports, river walking, or beachcombing.

I really like the textured red dot pattern of this Sportvibe pair and there's a good grip underneath, ideal for use on wet surfaces, including boats, spas, gym showers – or my garden.They're a slightly small women's 6.5, not particularly wide but the heels are soft so I found there was no need to wear them in. They're comfortable, more of a sock-feel than a shoe.4* – A little on the small side but still comfortable and I really like the textured dotted pattern of these water shoes with anti-grip soles and the soft top which allows for movement but they're not going to fall off. It's why I prefer wearing them around the house and hotel rooms than classic slippers
